Advice needed - I have a number of Smiths watches including a W10 - I need to find somewhere to have them serviced that won't either destroy them or bankrupt me. I am based in Cambridge but in London regularly - any recommendations?

As cheap and cheerful as possible as they are for my commuter bike. Said bike was on top of car as I drove into a carpark barrier! Oops...hence new shifters needed (or at least front shifter)

Ok, so my wife has an old bike in town that she uses to get from Liverpool St to the city (she works in part of a university not 'the city'.)

She hates her saddle and wants an old saddle she has fitting, two bolts (and snipping the wire lock that holds in place cos it has seized) 10 mins max I reckon but I am not in London.

Yesterday - Evans, yeah just bring it in and we will do it while you wait.
Today - Evans, no we cant do it we are too busy, no you cant book it in as it is too small a job...

Any suggestions other than don't use Evans!

I really like the idea of a Rolex like the Airking or an Oyster Perpetual on a strap.....You mention that they can be picked up for about a grand on a strap...any suggestions where? The Watchfinder ones are all out of my budget by some margin...I would really like something that is still waterproof too...

Still buzzing after a great (albeit slow) ride on the long route. Couldn't find Hefty's VW unfortunately but did bump into BillundBen (I was the chap with the ponytail and beard talking to you about your Hetchins/my Hetchins in a probably quite dull way on Saturday afternoon.

Anyway, a great day and would definitely do it again.
