I am going cycle touring for 2 weeks in France next Tuesday.
I am then going to be cycling across Europe for about 2 months (Aug-Sept).
I'll spend October in Turkey or Northern India, November in Nepal and be heading back to Oz permanently mid-Dec.Anyone got any amazing ideas about what sort of policy I should be looking for?
Annual ones only do 90 days so that its out.
I think I'll have to get 2 separate single trip policies. Lots of places I've looked at like insure and go cover touring, but not a bike (or jewlery). -
I'm moving back to Oz, so sadly have to get rid of this trusty steed. It's a great bike and has done a couple of weekends to Amsterdam/the Isle of Wight Randonee and quite a few 60 milers. I love it, but the time has come to say goodbye.
It's a 54cm - couple of chips in the paint, but in pretty good nick.
Had a new BB and stronglight crankset last year - done at Brixton cycles.
Also had a new cane creek head set about 18 months ago.
Bars are the standard chopped and flipped - the only stock thing left on it.
Saddle is charge ladle, ladies
Wheels are Dolan Navigators - less than 12 months old.
Gatorskin on the front, and a brand new one on the rear (1 month old).
Shimano 105 and dirty harry leaver
Mudguard
If I'm honest, when I tried to move the seat post last, it didn't budge. I didn't and haven't tried terribly hard. It hasn't seen a vice or a hammer or caustic soda... I just haven't got round to having a proper go at it. It was movable 6 months ago, so I think it probably just needs gentle persuasion rather than something drastic.
Anyway I'm after £220 for the full bike and I'll sort the seat post out, or £200 if you take it as is.
I'm based in Peckham and test rides are welcome.
(PS - the pedals aren't included in the sale)

I got a Kindle.... Whilst traditionally opposed to it, whilst I'm still living an nomadic life it makes a whole lotta sense. Plus it's got me reading more.
I'm currently reading War and Peace. I've put in a LOT of hours and I'm still only 30% through it..... still enjoyable and not a chore (so far).

Stupid question.... can you get these unlocked? I'm going travelling across Europe (then back to oz) and desperately need a new handset but don't want to be locked into using O2.... when I get home I want to be able to chose my provider - though I've no bloody idea what the mobile situation in oz is like these days. Hippy?

Neither has tables for Tues lunch time.
I've been to Dinner a couple of times, its very good.
Anyone tried Roux at the Landau?
Or know of any great Italian places (is Polpo still good?) or French brassaries?
Is Jose in Bermondsey worth a look?
Sorry lots of Qs, but I want to go somewhere new and amazing! -
My bro is unexpectedly in town for a week. He's not a massive foodie, but I feel its a good excuse for a posh meal. I was keen on the Ledbury or Duck and Waffle - but it seems both need a bit more lead time.
Any other ideas? I might take a day off on Tues so could do a nice Michelin stared lunch if we can get in somewhere nice.
Since señor :) see you Sunday.
