Very Nice - whats the stem?
Stem? It is absolutely czech ordinary produced from cca 1963 to 1985 99% at 7cm and a few at 11cm. All bikes produced at CSSR used this stem. Typically communistic era. In early 90´ies we all replacing this short terrible stem to cheep ITM, RINO, 3TTT, Modolo...So, it is 2009, and I keep this steel/aluminum stem at left hand, and 100% aluminum slim Kalloy at right hand... Frame from 1978... Yes!!! Today I make old communistic favorit stem rehabilitation!!! And I am sure, that this stem was been installed at this frame of end of 70ies... Communists! FAK OFF!!!

This Alan has the Alan CX fork, presumably supplied with the Alan/Colnago too.
http://www.effettomariposa.com/public/Alan1000.jpgThank you for this pic. I googled "carbitubo", haha, it is patent of GILBERTO COLOMBO (Trafiltubi srl manufacture, producer of Columbus tubes, and GILCO designes), used with steel frame, Ernesto used this technology for steel frames too, and 1989 producing CARBITUBO (ALANized Colnago). I recommending VERY NICE TRAFILTUBI,GILCO,COLUMBUS web pages. Real porno... I like Italian design. Innovative, modern, and easy...

About 1991 Ernesto Colnago produced models named Carbitubo (road and timetrial, I have catalogue) custom made of ALAN. About this cyclocross model I dont know to this momment. Fork maybe not original (or not Alan product). Ernesto I mean have "doppio tube" patent, and this models is very innovative, and with VERY PRETTY Alan technology. THANK YOU FOR THIS PORN!!!!! But porn is not good term... Mr. Colnago and Mr. Falconi connecting... haha... -
Look like an Alan, but then I could be very wrong.
It is Look, Alan have another connection parts. But rear ends look same that Alan. Alan technology used Ernesto Colnago at Carbitubo frames early 90s (twice down tube), and germany Schauff for high-end trekking frames (Trocadero model).
I like old glued alu or carb frames (this Look), Alan (my heart), or Trek oclv...

Sweet LOOK frame. Sell on eBay and use the money to get a track frame.
Thank you for the compliment, because we re-edited the frame (cut-off puppies, colour, funny brands looks like Porsche), so do not for sell. Unfortunately, in the Czech market with track frames dont exist. I would like also bought some track frame, but I have ALAN TITANAL road frame, which is a rarity, too.

Hi from Prague and Budweiss. My friend finished (graduated) my work with precission brands Scattini (porsche font) and Wilson tennis tape grip. I feel good, if I saw this foto :o))))
And coaster brake (in czech language "torpedo") - it is czech culture. Fixed is not typical, but I respect fixed!
And in Prague I saw at last 2 months 2 or 3 singlespeed bikers... Prague is in prenatal situation (Prague have hills).

a singlespeed coaster brake is a fantastic way of having a relaxing ride, I'm building up my old bike as one.
Yes guys, I am understand. I like pure fixed gear bikes design, I like movies at vimeo.com (search "charge bikes"), i like frames wit reverse drop outs, But:
1) I have not experiences with fixed gear, to this days I only biking at roadbike (bianchi columbus slx) and mtb (schwinn ht moab comp)
2) I built my ss bike for sometime travelling to office - 15km, 5min road downhill, and 40min around Vltava river thruu city parks, bridges, old town (roubaix!). Afternoon many pedestrians.
3) coaster brakes we good knows, everybody in Czech at 70ies starting biking at this system in kid years...
4) downhill is very comfortable with freewheeling wit coaster, braking is so specific; 1.pressure very very soft braking, 2nd presure good braking, 3rd pressure DRIFT :o))) but 2hours with coaster riding teach it...
5) i like speedskating, and with ss bike with coaster brake and 12atm tubes I have so same feeling... You must have intuition for right starting of braking, because braking at only rear is 30% effectivity (70% front brake, but it i have not :o)))))
6) And definitely I can not bike with cables...
Resume - coaster brake is ideal for me, but I understand, that another bikers dislike it.

P.S. and Velosteel coaster brake price in Czech Rep. is 340CZK (about 20USD)

**Alan Titanal coaster brake - ss for Prague** Hi my friends,
A few week ago I was built my first singlespeed bike. Major parts are used, some very old (front hub ESKA from 1963, Favorit bars from 1975), coaster brake Velosteel (ex- Velamos) is new, but technology same that Fichtel-Sachs, and it working very good (braking effect like a speedskating :o) Tufo tubes (8-12atm) are very shark and quick (absolutely not for Roubaix..) and stem... stem is sweet Cinelli 1A. Gear ratio for Prague hills 43/16 - not problem.
thank you for inspiration!!!

carbon frame btw :>
Yes!!! It is Carbitubo model with double down tube... Colnago and Sarroni idea with Alan technology! Sweet frame. A have Colnago catalogue 1991 with this frame, but no pista - for timetrial. On my opinion, crankset, seatpost and stem will be better silver... but black wheels are cool for blue/black frame. I feel too many "blacks". Or repaint frame to black (man in blacks), but repainting colnago... shit...
