Sadly I'm selling this as I need a bike I can leave locked out of sight without any worries. As a result, it has not been used as much as I'd have liked to, so it is in pretty good condition. I am open to splitting it if there is enough interest.

Free to a good home, a pair of knackered Conti Grand Prix 700 x 23C clincher tyres. There are a couple of tears in them, so pinch punctures were a bit annoying, though some tyre boots should help them last longer.
Collection near Hammersmith, or can meet central or Old Street during the week.

I've been told I have too many bikes :(
Dibs and PM please.
Collection in West London or Central. PM first before dibbing to ask about postage. I'm going to make a donation to the forum after this sale.First is a project I had hoped to get up and running as a fun town bike. I shipped it back from Kenya, where they call them "Black Mambas". I suspect it was made in China. It took me a while to get the right parts for the rod brakes, and now the chain line needs sorting, and I don't have the space for it. It is quite heavy, but has all the extras.
"Humber" branded Black Mamba SOLD
60 cm x 60 cm (CTC) but not that tall due to relaxed geometry

Ashoka Rod Brakes - no joke, they're actually called that

Some questionable-looking suspension?
Wheel lock with keys
Plastic springy saddle and saddle bag with toolsNext, a bike I bought for my sister, but she never rides it unfortunately.

These came with a Mercian time-trial frame I bought, and they've barely been used. The Hubs are Mavic 500 RD or 550 RD (http://velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx?ID=8E25B852-D341-409B-9053-548B73A3D85B&Enum=110&AbsPos=119), and run very smoothly. The front is radially spoked. The solder looks fine, and they spin perfectly true. There are some tubs on them; the front one is fine, but the rear has a puncture. There are no signs of braking on the rims, they're absolutely beautiful. The rims are Wolber Profil 18. They were built by Mercian in the mid 80s.http://dl.dropbox.com/u/121683/LFGSS/Photo%2011-04-2012%2013%2005%2031.jpg

Hi!
SOLD SOLD SOLD
I was doing up a bike for a mate of mine, and I no longer need these wheels. As I didn't pay for them, and he gave them to me, I feel they should be given away. The front hub has a U within a U logo, which I am unfamiliar with. The rear hub is a Shimano 105 6-speed cassette, with a quick release skewer on, and a Wolber rim. The tyres and inners are included.
Pick-up in West London or Central. Dibs and PM please.

I've got a wheelset with silver Shimano Exage hubs and Rigida black rims. It has a velosolo singlespeed converter on it at the moment with a 3/32" 16t sprocket. Both wheels are run smooth and true. They don't have a machined sidewall, but I have braked on them, so the walls are silver. I can send some pictures if you are interested? If you are looking for a cheap wheelset, I would do them for £50.

SOLD: 60 cm 1992 Peugeot Tourmalet fixed gear conversion, complete bike
£245 SOLD
I have over 10 years of happy memories with this bike :) I now regrettably have to sell and am looking for a third owner.
The steel frame is super responsive and feels really connected to the road without being too rigid. For a steel frame, it feels quite light, especially combined with modern, lighter aluminium wheels. As a fixed gear conversion, I’ve mostly ridden it around town, but it’s been good fun on a few longer rides. Everything is running smoothly.

As you get with a used 30 year old bike, there’s a few imperfections. I’ve always kept it indoors, but it does have a little bit of surface rust on the frame where there’s a few scratches from wear and tear. There’s also rust on the freewheel, the front wheel nuts and the toe strap buckles. The saddle is a little scuffed. The brake lever hood is torn, but stays put. The thread on the drive side crank is partially stripped. The tyres are getting a bit worn.
DM me if you’re interested.
