I just back to Sydney from Singapore... I can safely say Changi is so much better as an airport than Sydney. The queues, the chaos and the traffic driving home. Blurgh.
I didn't love the food over there, there's a lot of fusion confusion and I wasn't wowed by the hawker stuff. Weirdly did get a great Phó from a Viet cafe.
The kids just loved the fact that you can step into any body of water and as dammit said, it's 28°c.

Other nerdy car observations from Singapore...
I haven't seen one damaged car. Barely even little dings. The roads appear to be billiard table smooth everywhere. Cycling would be amazing, let alone driving.
A distinct lack of aggression.
Coming from Sydney, their concept of bad traffic is hilarious.
A relative lack of SUV type vehicles. The small sedan and compact car (Honda jazz style) seems to still dominate. And vans/people movers for actually moving people.

Yes and no. People can neglect to factor in the condition of the engine before tuning. Plus they'll stick to the the factory recommended service intervals even after a tune (bad idea!). There's always extra heat generated so coils fry, old oil fails, the standard intercooler can't keep intake temps low enough etc.
Having said that, I've had a tune running on my Audi A4 avant 2.0 tfsi for 65000 kilometres and it's absolutely fine. I change the oil before 10,000 Kay's and run shell v-power only (can of worms). And I don't push the car in hot weather.

From a creative perspective, this really does feel like they latched onto a quote around "it's like they die over and over" or similar. Impactful but lacks tact. Would we refer to physical injury or disability as "my dad was a great skier, then he lost his legs... It's like he died" seems a bit shallow?
I don't have a lot of direct experience with dementia but I have a had a Grandma who suffered with it... Yes it was sad, but from my perspective it was just a change, she was just different. Not dead.
Unfortunately marketing is pretty gross and the agency that developed this campaign will probably count it as successful as it has had a large reaction.

That GS is lovely though. I've been searching for a GS estate down here for a project. Found a blue pallas for $1000 aud but it needs double that in hours to get it running. They are getting rare!
There's also this which is tempting, however I have no garage to put it in.
