Price drop on mac as ive found a hackbook that I want on the bay

Cool, basically on my Air rendering time is my main issue atm, overall speed is meh playback is good/ok but not amazing.

Im such a novice at Macs - if my budget is say £500 what are the main metrics should i be looking at in looking for a 2nd hand macbook for Video editing. Memory RAM higher than 4gb which i have now I imagine? etc

Really? is this an issue given that macbook isnt retina display, are you able to guage the vids full quality OK

Whats probably the oldest year / model laptop i could get away with doing HD/4k video editing and After effects? thinking good condition 2014?

that looks really cool but a bit on the big side, the Teenage is a bit pricy so its so small, the idea i could just have it with me at an airport or wherever is real cool. not the most HQ beats but i like its sketchbook vibe
