Specialized Tricross single speed. XS frame 49cm. Meant for a smaller rider but fine for me atabout 5’7”. Mostly standard but cross top brake levers are long gone. 170mmcranks. Front rim was replaced with a nice Mavic Open Pro which with a week Ihad marked with a toe strap on a car rack. A used bike so some scratches andpaint chips plus a few where a rack and guards were fitted. C+S recent butused. Can come with a 165mm chainset to suit the shorter rider. In FoD andwould very much prefer cash on collection. £300. ONO

got lost reading all the thread but where are you? I have a Raleigh mtb frame . 501 tubing so fair quality. Purple. I think its a Mirage. F&F plus head set all there. could easily bung on a pair of cheap wheels witha threaded back . all you need is fixed cog for the wheels. Other bits maybe possible especially if you want cheap stuff. Can post it all via courier for about 9 quid. Actual cost according to how much you have.

Got a 48 cm Quintana Roo. this was built for 650c wheels but was most recently run on narrow 26" mountain bike wheels. At this size it is the only way to get decent ie not slack , angles and minimal toe overlap. In gloucestershire , just west of old Severn Bridge. Will post for 50 quid. Cheap Campag BB fitted. email me on

no at or gaps of course. -

**More info
**Had a look at the Carlton in the sun today. There are 3 top tube mounted cable guides which are all in effect a 5mm tube which are then split by the factory creating two parallel rings from a single braze on. One half of the middle one has been damaged and removed leaving only a single ring. could be tidied up more to be only noticeable if looked for. Also took off all the manky reflective tap which has been there since at least 95. Paint underneath is scabby or has come off with stickers so it does need a respray unless the grot bike is your look.
BB fitting is modern shimano compatible if you are interested.
All pm's and emails so far sent reply saying the same. -

130 is modern road spacings. Older free wheel stuff was mostly 126 so an old threaded hub wheel will go in. Either use a longer axles if needed and a washer or just push the frame together a bit. No problems and it was common on steel frames even at pr level. Using old wheels is cheap, seen a stack on the classifieds and allows you to use some nice old classic hubs
Those inline things that allowed you to run as triple chainring and front mech with a double STI
