I posted a request to borrow a bike in london and at least three people responded within the first several days.
i ended up with borrowing a really nice touring bike from a generous and kind gentleman whose name will remain anonymous... unless he reveals himself.if someone needed to borrow a bike in LA, it wouldn't be a problem at all.
good luck violating someone's girlfriend. it's easier than you might think.

wow! this is the liveliest i've ever seen this forum. it's as though it's your 'last night on earth'.
back to business:
i think it would be interesting to meet up on the other corner of stephen's green park; the one where the messengers hang out. a nice little social experiment that pierce might appreciate. -

Judging from her Flickr and Blog, meandmybluebike seems to fit the bill.
And really into cycling.
thanks! if these are the qualifications to be able to borrow a bike from a kind londoner, then i should be expecting a flood of offers?
please let me borrow a bike. i don't need anything fancy. a beater would suffice.
thanks, guys! -
hello London!
i'm from Los Angeles and i'll be in london tonight for about a week or so. i was wondering if anyone has a 50-51 frame (road, single speed, fixed) i could borrow for a week while i'm in london. i've spent the last several weeks in dublin where i borrowed matt81's single speed. if you need character reference, you may contact him.
i've been cycling since i was a kid, and have lots of city and touring experience.
thanks so much!
cheers! -

Silver/Blue Kalavinka on white Deep V's on Georges street last night... Lushness!! Also spotted meandmybluebike three times this week and been at a wedding (I was the curly haired photographer in Sheeben Chic) without her without her knowing... I think that deserves super stealth Ninja points!!
maybe i deserve super stealth creepy points for snapping a photo without him knowing that i didn't know that he knew who i was.

i contacted my friend Nathan from LAFixed. he screened Macaframa in la and i've asked him if he could put you guys in contact with the guy(s) in charge of permission for screening.
so, whoever is in charge or wants to take charge of screening Macaframa in Dublin, send me a message with your email address and i'll have Nathan get in contact with you.
cheers!

i showed up at around 11:30 and didn't see any gold sprints or bikes on rollers/trainers. instead, i witnessed and irish man projectile vomiting nonchalantly twice in ten seconds just outside the pub.
i talked to one dread-lock haired man in a red t-shirt who informed me that all the events had pretty much ended.
i do however, recommend checking out the art and short stories associated with the portraits on the wall. -
