For sale is my partner's Puch 'Princess' (eugh) mixte bike.
I have no idea what the correct way to measure a mixte is but it is about right (maybe a tad large) for her at 5' 4".
The bike is all original except I've subbed out the 27" wheels for a couple of 700s that I bought off the forum (non-matching, more on these below). I think I still have the Puch skewers around somewhere but I have binned the wheels (they were heavy as hell and one had a wicked wonk on it).
The overall condition is reasonable, the paint has seen better days but it isn't in need of an imminent respray, and there are no obvious rust issues (it has lived inside for years and doesn't go out in the rain).
Money wise my partner would be happy to take £100 (ONO) for the frame and everything other than the wheels. I have no particular attachment to the rear wheel (a 90s Mavic MA2 on a no-name hub) so that comes included.
The front wheel is a Mavic Open Pro CD built up on a nice looking and running Campag hub (I think a 1980s Chorus). I'm not rushing to sell it (it being a handy emergency spare for my vintage ride). If it's a deal breaker then I'd take £50 for it.
Anyway I've attached a picture and am happy to provide any specific measurements if anyone can tell me specifically what they want measured. Anyone wanting to take a closer look can see the bike near Holborn on weekdays.

After some imperfect locking (never using an extender cable again) there is a 126mm space where my rear-wheel once was. To fill said space I'm ideally looking for a campag hub laced to a mavic clincher with a six speed freewheel. A seven would be fine I believe and it doesn't have to be Mavic (just trying to make the open pro on the front as far as possible) but I would very much prefer Campag (which I think means 80s record or nuovo tipo unless I'm mistaken).
I've already had a good offer on a set of sprints but I'd really rather get a clincher if I can at all manage it.
Thanks everyone.

This guy is the best trader I've come across on the forums (or probably anywhere). First holster went awol in the post (for some reason it got 'returned to sender') and when I let him know (before he had received the return and with no way of knowing that I hadn't just received/pocketed it) he immediately ran off a new one and sent it next day special delivery for no extra charge. Finding it to be a little too tight to fit my lock into (probably because I'm not a huge guy and so the strap holster is round more of a corner than it might otherwise be) I mentioned this to him just for the purposes of feedback (obviously he hadn't done anything wrong) and he immediately insisted on making me another one a bit longer, again not asking for any further money.
Amazing service and a really great quality item.
