I have a set of threaded forks and have a real problem with the headset bolts coming loose, I have had the cups out and the bearings and checked the thread on my stem and all seem fine.
However once I tighten the headset up all I need to do is brake slightly and headset comes loose again, I don't want to over tighten the headset and wreck the cups.
Its not something i've come across before.

This was used a pub bike/beater for a few months and then i took a few parts for other bits and bobs.
Anyway it comes with 700c wheels the front hub needs looking at as it is naffed. The rear hub could also do with some TLC or binning/throwing in the bin.
The good parts, Specialized cut down risers with Soyo track grips and also an old campy crank with MKS Sylvan Pedals which just need a clean, bearings run smooth etc.
Frame is in great condition and just needs a clean, headset is solid and smooth.
For obvious condition and bits on it i'm looking for £80.00
Collection from W1 central london working hours.
