I have a set of unused & unopened 45mm (for 35mm tyres) PDW "City" fenders bought as a spare years ago but never needed . Not black or silver but anodised grey with silver fittings, as pictured. £80 collected from N22.

Why is this still here?? Deserves a bump. The (smaller) Moots I owned was not only a joy to ride but so precisely engineered that it was almost as much pleasure to build up and maintain.

Wow, add me to the list of those who'd have snapped this up if I'd seen it in time. Great bargain, and great bikes to ride.

PS. These are Gen 1 not Gen 2, but were purchased new (when you could still easily buy from bike-components.de in Germany, sigh) and saw only minimal use before I replaced them with non-aero bars.

@fredtc Thanks for the prompt - yes it's just the replaceable plastic guide that bolts under the BB - this. Still intact (and crack glued shut) but might split open eventually - I've ordered the replacement and should have it by end of week.

Size: 53.5 (standard size - see chart for geometry).

Condition: Bought second-hand in good condition and kept that way. There are signs of use - minor surface marks, scratches, and abrasions, including from cable rub (worst of which is under top tube, see pic). I can take snapshots with wheels in place if there are concerns about clearance - I used 25mm tubs mostly, with no issues.

Fork: Edge Road 1.0 (Edge was Enve before a rebrand). The 1.0 fork was lighter, maybe a little comfier and certainly pricier than the 2.0 fork. Steerer was cut long (about 225mm) and unless you're using a Moots stem or another with a tall stack I'd recommend cutting it shorter, but it's your call. In preparing for the photos I noticed a crack forming in the plastic cable guide under the BB. This still seems OK and I've used a drop of superglue to prevent it worsening. I've ordered a replacement with the same product code (Shimano SM-SP18-M, cost just £2.49), which I'll post to the buyer's address if I don't receive it by the time this frame is picked up. It looks like Moots itself offers a different model now (Sp17) but I might as well sell this with the type that came with it, which fits and worked fine.

This frame was always on the small side for me but I enjoyed its liveliness married to amazing comfort. I'm only selling this as I'm no longer flexible enough for this geometry and it's a shame to just leave it hanging on my office wall forever. Looking at the snapshots from this afternoon, the Moots already seems happy at the prospect of being released onto the roads and into the wild where it belongs.

(PS. In the unlikely event that someone has a Moots sitting around that's a size bigger that they find too large, maybe with the 1cm head tube extension, we could discuss a trade.)

I've gone back to glueing for now, but only because the tape's relatively heavy. It sticks well enough, makes aligning/straightening the tub easy, and is not at all difficult to remove in a roadside repair, though you do end up with a messy ball of it to dispose of responsibly. I had to do this recently and the tape also left behind some random patches of adhesive residue on the rim which may have helped the spare tub (which also had a coating of Mastik One) to adhere to it. Nowhere near as effective as layer of glue, I imagine, and not exactly an evening coating -- it might just as easily have all come off completely. I'm not a fan of the smell when working with it indoors, either. I have Campagnolo wheels without eyelet holes in the rim bed, which make glueing about as painless as it can get. But for other wheels where glueing is (slightly) more challenging, and for which weight -- and possibly rolling resistance, which is said to be higher with tapes that have some 'give'-- is of no importance, the tape's convenience makes it worth keeping around.

According to Shimano's compatibility chart, no, but manufacturers are generally conservative about this. If it was me mixing and matching I'd want an 11-speed chain and front derailleur to go with it. But see declaration below.
