I have a 60th anniversary edition with a much higher spec, sugino 75 cranks and BB, goldtec hubs, atac pedals, miche super type etc... Somehow that only cost me £1200 new from Condor when I bought it.
You can't compare the current range for your pricing, its different tubing, etc... You especially can't compare when you bought an old frame set (at a discount of course). In fact nothing here adds up.
Anyway, if you decide to split, which is the only way you will get anywhere near the price you desire, I will happily take the bars, levers and rear break.

In my mega clear out of stuff, I offer you a lenovo ideapad s206.
It has an AMD E2-1800 APU Vision processor, 4gb of a ram and best of all it has a pretty much brand new Samsung EVO 840 120gb SSD HD. These cost £65 brand new right now. So you are getting a netbook/laptop for £34...
The reason it is so ridiculously cheap is that it was dropped and there is a crack on the corner (in the photo). The only other thing that got damaged (that I can tell), was the old spindle based drive. This is why it was replaced with the SSD. It now works just fine, and boots up super fast. It is a powerful netbook, rather than a full laptop I would say.
I would prefer personal sale either at waterloo or chiswick. I can post at cost.
