3. Selle San Marco ASPide with titanium rails (i think) - a bit faded and some wear and tear on the rear edge. £15

9. This drop bar came off an old french road bike, maker was Starnord, the sizing is unique, standard stem clamp sizes won't fit, stem would need to be french. Free SOLD

i'm converting from fixed to ss, the 1 thing that i'm worried about is the run of the cable for the rear brake, all the lugs have been filed off the frame before it was sprayed so what to do about the cable run? cable tie to frame?

i'll try a few different saddles and if they don't work out then i'll get a cycle fit

i also ride in a racing position more so than most people.

In a few weeks time i'll be doing Edinburgh to London over three days, thats about 150 miles a day so i want to invest in a good saddle, i used a Fizik last weekend for a 90 Mile ride and my knob is only now just getting its feeling back, not good, scary times, but it wasn't the Arione. I think i'll do as people suggested and try a few of the above mentioned saddles. Dovvles i'll take the CX carbon, PM on the way.

Hi Guys

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a saddle for doing long road races, i'll be in the saddle for 7 or more hours. I was thinking of buying the Charge Knife saddle as i love the spoon and the knife is lighter and more race bred. I imagine there are many options, weight is less important as comfort but i wouldn't go for a 500g Brooks. Any thoughts
