Yes, I forgot to check in on this website (and frustratingly was sat in my office for most of the day) but you’ve messaged me asking me to text (which I didn’t because I hadn’t seen that message) and then two hours later messaged to say that you’d set off, without having had any reply or confirmation.

You’d also mentioned both yesterday, Saturday and Sunday as possible meet up times and the last message I saw from you said ‘hopefully’ today so it wasn’t exactly set in stone in my mind.

It changed when Royal Mail added delivery confirmation on second class parcels.

I mean I could tell you again that standard second class is sufficient for PayPal. And Tracked 48 is better value than second class signed for, with £150 of cover.

Absolutely no need to do so unless it’s a high value record. Standard second class has delivery confirmation.

You can wait and see if the returned record is as you described it and then make a call. If they open a PayPal ‘not as described’ case then you can require them to return it and they will have to pay the return shipping.

Ultimately, it costs about £3 to post a record and I’ll happily pay that to save the time that these disputes can consume.
