Yup, seven days and counting... hope the weather stays good and a couple of thousand turn out
then Boris might actually wake up
if anyone's interested in marshalling... gerhard@lcc.org.uk is top dawg. Would help if you're free tomorrow (Thurs) early eve for an on-bridge briefing, but there's probably a workaround if you're not

morning report of female cyclist hit by van at around 7.40am while turning right into Queen Victoria St at northern junction of the dreaded Blackfriars Bridge
police in attendance... witness thought she was likely headed to A&E
crash confirmed on Twitter...Fingers x-ed she isn't badly hurt
That right turn is really dangerous, crossing 2-3 lanes of fast-moving traffic. The whole junction needs redesigning but 20mph would be a start. Please support next Wed's London Assembly Motion:

this might be useful if you go that way again - my old route to work from Brixton Hill
http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2665659
I didn't go on the A3 - the shared pavement was quick and safe, with a useful subway halfway up
there are some great tracks through Wimbledon Common if you've got the right rubber :-)
wow, so please she got out unharmed
@dimi3 Lorries banned in london from 9pm-7am to protect residents against noise at night, so lots hurrying to make deliveries during morning rush hour
