So I couldn’t resist the lure of the paint job...sure it is a marmite thing.
I call it the v2.2 - switch to 2 speed and some extra Ti thrown on. 9.4kg as shown and hair over 9kg w/o guards or luggage block.

I guess it is 3 speed with a rack but yeah that doesn’t really add up or make sense. I’ve seen full ti builds in the 6kg category

Agreed. These bikes are hugely addictive to ride, as is the upgrade frenzy.

Just picked up this understated beauty...will be my first foray into Brompton and already pondering upgrades...🤪
It already has a Ti post and fairly light so main additions for now are QR Ti pedals and some new grips and a nicer saddle. Plus easy wheels.
Bag wise has anyone tried the Demano range?

Views on a good affordable titanium seatpost that would work with 9.5mm oval rails (Brooks C13) - either our box or with the Pentaclip adaptor? Thx

Yep I think they are just milking it at this point with no real benefit to the owner. And making it a six speed by default is just odd to me.

The most interesting thing for me are the new machined clamps although these will be available after market from Brompton for £35/piece. Presumably a weight saving rather than just aesthetic but haven’t seen any stats on the bike weight yet. Saddle is a bit meh and sad they’ve lost the grey sparkle
