I just got one of these miche track cogs with the threaded cartridge and separate splined cog set up. There was loads of play in it after a couple of journeys to and from work and then after I tightened the whole thing up and tightened the lockring up against it it felt perfect this morning. That was until the whole set up - lockring and miche carrier sprung free of the hub as I was pulling a hockey stop. The lockring is threaded to buggery. Nice. If I had taken off the brake as I was intending I'd have been fucked - I was coming up to a main road as it happened.
I had a cracking time in the Bavarian Alps and then through Croatia last summer. 48:18 but not fixed. Don't bother with a trailer - it's not necessary or heterosexual and would just be a pain, get yourself a set of Ortliebs and off you go.
