A Gazaleigh?! I'm not sure why anyone would want to do this...
I'm selling that and I totally agree. I bought it as a whole bike thinking it was a Gazelle. Never thought in a million years that somebody would go to the effort to fake one.

I've recently got hold of a hub geared bike. The hub clicks when it's in gear 2 or 3. Gear 1 is silent. Is this supposed to happen?

Might be shooting myself in the foot here. A supposed Pinarello Treviso. I'm no bike expert but this thing is apparently 531 yet I thought they used Columbus tubing. Headbadge looks like a transfer. Am I right in thinking this is a fake?

So I'm thinking, if I were to strip this frame and get it repainted, would the pitting on the lugs and the top tube show under a layer of powdercoat paint?

I think it's a great idea. Put some powerful electricity through the suspension cable and then some burning laser beams and nobody will steal a bike again.

Got stopped 2 days ago and fined £30 for rolling through a red on an near empty road by a cop who "Doesn't like to hand out these fines". Gave me the whole "You have the right to remain silent.." shebang aswell. Absolute, utter c*nt.

Nah, I didn't bother asking. The guy actually sold it to me as a Gazelle and I totally fell for it (it was dark when I was viewing it, the price was good and it came with a decent set of wheels). You're right though man, it's weird as hell. It's a good frame and could have easily been restored into a nice Raleigh.
