broke the lock. popped open not cut. ive heard its possible to get an air ram inside large d locks but thought the mini d was designed to prevent this.

Anybody got an old arm lying around. GFs mate has turned a square hole into a round one by not knowing what a 16mm socket looks like. Cheaper the better. Silver pref.

I have a trek 2300 composite bike from 93/94 and it's still going strong, don't have any issues with it.
