massive thanks to kinoko and their staff this saturday gone, bobby in particular was amazingly helpful.

went in there after nitto risers snapping mid ride. turns out there was a product recall on them and kinoko said they could replace them there and then.
chopped the bars down, fitted the same grips all in quick time.. really nice staff, great advice and service.

i've hit a bit of a brick wall creatively and looking to work with music minded people (preferably with some instrument skillz).
i live near finsbury park and have a small set up built around a mackie 1402, juno 106 and maschine with some outboard stuff (compressor, filters etc).

If you like you can do some post work at mine as I've got an empirical labs fatso compressor?

May be easier to use an analogue mixer like a small Mackie as a pre-amp, sort out gain etc, then send to line inputs of an interface? Or spend more on something like the Focusrite ISA 428, which I haz and it's very nice, but pricey.

thats what i do.
run a mackie 1604vlz pro into the firwire 410.. gives you hands on control for starters and that warm mackie sound.

you can get 1202 for real cheap.

m-audio firewire 410
workhorse that has never failed me in 5 years, used a rme fireface 800 for about 6 months but ended up going back to the 410 as it just works with no fiddling, great drivers and low latency.

I've a problem with this logic. It imposes responsibility on the cyclist for the driver's subsequent actions.

This has enraged me so much that I shall punch a nun, and it wil be your fault.

nope.. not responsibility, just realising that making what some perceive as a violent action (hitting car) to make yourself feel better is worse than brushing it off and say ce la vie.

luckily that story ends there.. but i can imagine a parallel story (breaking bad sty;e- whereby every action has a consequence which the protagonist is unaware of) whereby said drivers car is hit and he proceeds to take vengeance upon another cyclist who has no connection to the original action.
