Mmmm I definately do this too, sometimes I have really crap days and get really down about cycling and think bugger it all why dont i just learn to drive like everyone else, but then a couple of weeks later there is always a nice morning ride in the sun when it's quiet and it makes it all worth it.
Also swapping bikes can quite muck you up, after 2 weeks on my fixed gear the road bike is weird and knackering and vice versa and after a couple of rides its ok again, I think it's not that you loose fitness but you are just in different positions and cadence and using slightly different muscles.

As far as I can gather it has got an electric motor + battery in it and still needs charging, its just that it has no throttle, the speed and energy input of the motor is proportional to your cadence so its really just a normal electric assisted bike.
Looks very cool though, would love to turn up to a time trial on one of them and do a 12 minute 10 XD

To be fair you are actually quite witty for someone with no initiative whatsoever.
However since everyone was ignorant once I'll give you this one for free...
they offer almost unique service and reasonably low prices.http://www.fellia.com/description.php?ref=TRKGLOSSBLKYELLOW-1245255146

Depends what you consider decent.... I built myself a versatile, solid, (albeit a bit heavy) fixed gear for just over £200 with some ebay scouring.
I would suggest that you build your own Chris... it will work out about the same price probably but you get to spec all the bits yourself (custom colour scheme :D) and you learn alot doing it, it also helps with maintainance etc too if you know how it all goes together.
For me though the main reason was the feeling of it being mine... its kinda sad i know but its a warm feeling to know that I saved an old english frame and have given it another life, but mayby thats just me.

Drink to forget but dont forget to drink. I drink to forget that I drink to forget, sadly I forgot this and subsequently remembered. Whilst the somewhat puzzling paradox is somewhat puzzling its ok because when I get to that bit I drink some more. In the morning I cant remember anything, perhaps I drunk to forget or perhaps I didnt drink and as a result didnt remember forgetting. Sadly as a result of this I'm usually drinking again by breakfast. I have one but then I tend to forget and have another.
College is finished and life is very good at the moment...

Either that, or the other one's 1/16"
Heh, funnily enough thats actually closer, the planetx one seems very skinny.
The new one has 3/32 written on the side and measured with calipers it is EXACTLY 3/32. The problem being that so are the holes in the chain, hence the interference fit... Will visit the LBS tommorow and borrow a new 3/32 chain to make sure i'm not just being stupid and have a funny chain.
Still the customer service people are ever so nice. Will send it back if a new chain dont do the trick.

Heh, I just had this with a new 3/32 sprocket from VeloSolo... my old cog from planetx was pretty thin and didnt have enough teeth on it so i decide to purchase another. Got this one out of the packet and saw it was a lovely chunky piece of engineering and very shiny and gold (im a wannabe hipster), however the chain wont interface with the cog at all. Spent about half an hour trying to work out what I had done wrong and then concluded the teeth on the sprocket were just too damn wide. Will have to send it back and seek another of a decreased width I guess, 19t are tricky to come by though.
The gold one is the new one... tis substantially chunkier than the old one.

The one that gets at me is "should of" instead of "should have". I have been known to shout across the room at people if I hear it being used.
I came across Orwell’s essay when we were looking at 1984 in college. There is a whole subtext in 1984 about the use of language which comes from that essay. He suggested that there is a direct correlation between the use and quality of language and the average intelligence of society. Since language is the tool we use to express ourselves, kids who spend all their time texting with a ridiculous concatenated language are really not expressing themselves effectively. It’s impossible to explain a complex scientific principle or a great work of art in text language, so all that is being communicated are the trivialities. I think that is a great shame.
People using "like" often annoys me too. I meet people who are entirely unable to construct a sentence without the word like in it. It’s just mindless filler that doesn’t add any meaning to the conversation.
Just moved into Cambridge - been years since I was last on LFGSS, didn't even realise there was a Cambridge group.
Am well up for another alley cat at the end of October even though I shall have no idea where i'm going :)
