Club rule:
In Antwerp we’re all about fun, sun and making new manfriends (no homo). That’s why we’re introducing the club rule. A team consists of 5 players from at least 2 different bike polo clubs. What’s that, you say? Well, Antwerp Bike Polo is a club. So is Brussels Bike Polo. And Paris Bike Polo and Bike Polo Cologne and so forth. To make things more interesting we thought it’d be nice to mix things up a bit. In a literal sense, that is. Get in touch with people you know (or don’t know) from outside your own club to form a killer team.

Still a bit confused? Let me break it down for you:

• 4x Brussels + 1x Antwerp = OK!
  
• 3x Karlsruhe + 1x Büppel + 1x Hamburg = OK!
  
• 1x Paris + 1x London + 1x Antwerp + 1x Giessen + 1x Brussels = OK!

How to get here:

• the address of the court is Berkenveldplein Antwerp
  
• there’s room to park your car all around the court
  
• if you come by train, get off at Antwerpen-Berchem and ride yo bike, it’s about 6,5 km

• if you fly, arriving in Zaventem is the best option. An Airport Express bus will take you straight into town. Get off at the Antwerp South stop (Crowne Plaza Hotel).

Which cities are stepping up? I only read krakow or something somewhere?

Maybe other cities can now step up because the worlds are mid October, and they have a bit more time instead of june/july.

John, I would take my wheels and pedals off anyhow..because the baggage handlers are not that careful as you know, obviously you can lower your saddle. I would choose the one with the wheels..I carried my bag around Barcelona and my shoulders were destroyed returning in NL. After this I created DIY wheels and this is muchhhhhh easier to carry.

Tom, B, and I won a tourney in Eindhoven in 2009 (or so). Rupert, with some Dutchies, came second after being destroyed by Taka's cannonball attacks.

Nope, we became 2th in that one. ;)

Too bad I could not play today, got injured in the 2th last game yesterday, result of waiting long and playing in the dark (with lights). Hopefully Polo phonies will do well with their sub.
