I can't deny that I might have done the same as the driver; But I have a great deal of sympathy for the plight of the Palestinians. They are being driven out of their homes because the Israelis sky pixie is "better" and "told them they could have the land". The international community stands by and does nothing to prevent the worsening situation.
The Gaza strip is an effective concentration camp. Palestinians are held hostage by the Israelis, denied access to basic human rights and international aid. It's disgusting, even more so because of the apathy, or even misguided support people have towards Israel.

Godwins Law - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin's_law
I'm about 99% certain this guy is a Brunel University student. I remember seeing him last academic year, cycling around campus/Uxbridge wearing one of these...

These are so much fun. They feel so fast, and the cornering is mental. I used to have a homebrew trike, down hills, fast. up hills, fast. round corners, fast. May weigh more than your "average" bike, but because you are so low to the ground (like a sports car) it feels fast!
Unlike the traditional trikes (converted from normal bikes) these babys turn sharpish. Again, because of the wide wheelbase, and low centre of gravity, I did all sorts of shit, and never rolled mine...
Up hills, you have the power to push back into something (the seat) meaning you can use the full power of your legs, rather than just pushing against your weight... Makes climbing a breeze!
In short; WANT. But cannot afford atm :(

DJ, I'm exactly the same mate. I did exactly that trying to slice bread earlier... Ngggggaaarrrhgh haha. I took a spill early in the year and fractured my coccyx, I got dyclofenac (brand name voltarol, I think) for that. I'm on co-dydramol 10/500mg x 2 (which is dihydrocodeine tartrate and paracetamol) and ibuprofen 400mg x 1 after meals...
Heal up mate!

I've just done much the same as DJ, on my local trails, only to my elbow. Sucks man. After a brilliant day with Moog out in Dorking on Saturday, I went for a "quick hour spin in the local woods" today, where there is some nice singletrack I've done a thousand times, and just... fucked up. I'm not even sure how. Hospital sent me to xray a second time because they couldn't believe it wasn't broken from the swelling I had... It's sooo hard to flex my elbow atm. :/

Look like it can shred your legs though, which is a bit worrying.
And a chainring can't? Think before you post!
Also, at the top of the chainring (Where you are most likely to get bitten) the teeth are totally covered by the actual belt.
More to the point, those rubber belts stretch and bounce, don't they? And are they strong enough to take the forces? Won't they just snap? can't be as strong as a metal chain...[/troll]

"without realising"
That's my home town, and where I live at the moment. I can believe it. This is a shit-hole. The most impressive/best thing in this town is our motorway service station. It's a town of 35,000 people. No proper swimming pool, no bowling, no cinema... shit bugger all.

Lucy, Why a Carlton? I thought Carlton stamped frame numbers on their fork ends, This frame has it on the BB shell, I believe...
Also, Calrton numbers start with a letter, don't they?
If it is a carlton, it's a nice high end model; nervex lugs were only used on the highest of the high carltons... 'far as I can tell...
