Hey all,
I have this **Falcon team equipe **conversion which I've not used for years and years which I'm looking to sell on. I'm happy to sell in parts if there's no interest in the bike as a whole, but all of my tools are in Canada so I will probably have difficulty taking it apart.
It's a nice looking frame, albeit with some dings here and there. Furthermore, there may be some tube damage on the down tube from one time I got doored. I've photographed it. You will also notice that the saddle is missing for the most part, and that one of the toe clips has snapped. So yeah, not a perfect buy.Frame is Reynolds 453 tubing, 54cm from centre of BB to centre of top tube.
There are, however, some nice parts on it:
- Sugino Messenger Crank-set 46t.
- White Velocity Deep V laced to Halo hub at Holloway Cycles (In need of a clean)
- Diatech Goldfinger in white
- Sakae Custom bars (really lovely but in need of a re-tape)
- Tange Seiki threaded (I think) Headset
I would be happy to part with the entire bike for £sold. I think that's fair. It's probably not fit to ride away, but with a little work it could make a nice beater. I would refurb it if I didn't now live in Vancouver.
I also have various parts which were stupid purchases on the part of my 17y/o self and have since sat around my dad's place.
- Bicycle Union BMX stem - bought for £49.95 (still has its sticker), selling it for** £30**. I think that's fair
- Odyssey Brake lever - £2.50 sound good?
- M-Part Comp Headset 1 1/8" bought for £20 (still has its sticker), selling for £7
I'm based in Crouch End and am in town until Wednesday the 14th. I can drop off the parts around central London but would prefer pick up for the bike.
Pictures can be found here: http://imgur.com/a/IrYLp and I am more than happy to take more by request.
Cheers,
Quincy

Sorry, I know it's in the same vain as http://www.lfgss.com/thread38121.html#post1222358.
But just stumbled across the following and wondered if it was worth £385?http://www.matuzmaster.hu/_userfiles/image/2007-11-29-moser-piros-tt/1669-big.JPG
http://www.matuzmaster.hu/_userfiles/image/2007-11-29-moser-piros-tt/1673-big.JPGMoser road time trial frame: from special Oria steel tubeset, it features a very high quality of construction. It used to belong to Francesco Moser, so it's his size (Moser is 181 cm tall), but it was never built into a complete bike. The rear brake cable routing is very interesting. The frame is signed by Moser. It is from the special series of bikes built when Moser broke the hour record. It has its matching fork. Early 1990's design.
Thanks
