Is there a braking surface on the front rim?
No, it's non-machined.

Hey everyone! I've posted this on the facebook group, but thought it'd probably be a good idea to post here too. Basically, im coming up to film a documentary for my course in digital media and was wondering if anyone would be interested in being filmed and interviewed to take part in it or just fancy a ride around the 20th december? I spoke to Bendudenhoffer and he said that he's mentioned it to a few of you but thought it'd be best to introduce myself and stuff. I decided to do it in Aberdeen cos i thought the setting would be pretty good and cos it's a relatively new scene, to show the community in a city known for being grey and oil-rich. I know that's gonna be the end of term time, and i guess a couple riders are students but would anyone fancy taking part, interviewed or filmed?
Cheers,

Hahaha i think that mr white deep v rear wheel might be me but thank you very much if it is. They may well be for sale in a few weeks if moving happens.
Also, spotted edscoble i believe on new oxford street (thanks to the lovely looking bike) and probably a few other people. What a nice day for a ride.

Me and a few other hipster types doing our best to imitate the Mash SF boys in London Traffic, with Bullet cams and germans filming us from german convertibles with Japanese cameras.... :p
Is that why there was a box with bright orange german tv channel microphones in it outside shop14 and a bunch of people hanging out outside? i did wonder.

Hi not4sale, I live in Luxembourg along the cycle route between Luxembourg city and Mersch and can say that it is a lot nicer than any of the roads i've cycled on in the UK. The cycle route is really well signposted and maintained, a lot of it is away from the road through fields and countryside but even when it is on road cars give a lot of space. All Luxembourgers are pretty proud of their cycling heritage so they're willing to keep distance and slow down. If you come while the suns out it's a really nice ride up although it doesn't take long at all to get up north but is definitely a nice day out or days depending on how long you're looking at staying. I would also recommend the route south to the moselle river and wine country if you're planning on spending a few days touring here. If you have any other questions or need any other advice let me know.
