i have both my knees done, and i used the cling film for three days, they have healed very well and didnot need any touching up. The knee got swollen pretty bad but it was still usable, could still ride my bike.

i thought the rust on the headtube was from sweat, because the frame had been on an indoor training stand. (at least thats what i thought)

where the crimping started it was a little bit more sharp, the columbus went a little bit more smooth into the crimp if i remember correctly

saarf, it was a c18 i had bought for the replacement tubes, and they were 6 crimps too, but looked a little bit different

i never tried to straighten it out, i tried to get replacement tubes, bought another frame with the same tubes (cornello i think the frame was) but the tubes were not long enough, after that i kind of lost interest as i dont ride a trackbike anymore. I can imagine if you had the right tools it can be bent back but not sure how safe that is going to be

the frame is very tight allready, with the bulge a little bit too tight, (frame was little bit bent when i bought it but i had never noticed it) i hope it can be corrected without having to replace the tubes cos they are really hard to get, i tried.

i think the frame deserves c-record pista too, it had a c-record group on it with sheriffstars:)

i didnot paint the frame, when i bought it it was allready yellow, i think the guys at http://www.vintagepista.com/ painted it, somewhere on the site is a pic with three of the frames hanging on a wall

right, so at the risk of sounding like a pussy i'm gonna just ask: did anyone else's leg jump about loads when getting tattooed? I've had much worse areas done (elbow completely coloured in, inside arms etc) but couldn't control my leg?

i had the same with my left leg, after a wile we put another pillow underneath my knee, that helped

you can screw a cassette on the trackhubs too i think
