I've a few nice components for sale, if you think something is overpriced then I'll consider reasonable offers.
Campagnolo Superleggeri Pedals - good description available here - http://www.velobase.com/ViewComponent.aspx?ID=ef8e9588-dfdd-4acb-b5b5-e25f4d81e989 - these are in excellent working order but have seen considerable use so are in reasonable condition. They currently have BLB cages and unknown brown leather straps attached, you can have them for free if you want. £60

I tried the Giros on last week and was amazed at how much better the fit was compared to my sidis. No heel slip and good room in the toes (no squishing)
FWIW, I'm a 43 in Sidi but the Giro fit perfectly in 42, which is my normal shoe size.Saving for a pair, so cannot comment on the on-bike performance.
I'm thinking of these too, where did you try them on...Condor?

Pretty much start with the Raster-Noton label. Their output is consistently excellent, stuff like Kangding Ray / Alva Noto / Byetone / Signal. New stuff I'd recommend Samuel Kerridge / Dino Sabatini / Forward Strategy Group who have put out some brilliant records this year. I'd also massively recommend Muslimgauze, although his stuff isn't exactly techno of any form, but it is amazing.[URL="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoO3gcKgRek"][/URL
]My mate's a big Raster-Noton fan so I've heard some stuff already.....Alva Noto is superb. I'll get on the rest of the recommendations now and see how I fair.
Cheers man....much appreciated

Redshape XLR8R podcast
Cheers, I'll check that out now.
Does anyone have any good recommendations for "ambient techno", for want of a better term? I only recently discovered the Gas / Nah Und Fern series by Wolfgang Voigt and it's definitely the best thing I've heard all year, plus I find it great to work to. So yeah, something along the lines of this, but ideally hours long....

Lately I've been having trouble getting my Yashica T4 to focus, it can take 2/3 depressions of the shutter button before it focuses and I can finally take a shot. Also, the last time I was taking a roll out, the automatic rewind hadn't rewound the film fully so I lost a few shots.
Any ideas why this happens....they don't seem to be related issues? I use the camera a lot, it spends a lot of time in jersey pockets so I'm not very careful with it. Would it be worth bringing to a repair shop seeing as it'd only cost £80ish to replace?
Any advice appreciated...cheers!
Also...superb photos hinius, and in general on this thread.

I'd recommend contacting a local animal/dog shelter to see if they'll take the dog. The problem is that a lot of places are inundated with stray dogs. My girlfriend has worked in a shelter in north London before and it's really depressing to hear about the amount of dogs that are abandoned, particularly staffies.
Try these guys - http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/contactus/default.aspx - they're local to you and should be able to help, if you catch the dog! Maybe give Battersea Dog and Cat home a call too, although I'm unsure how long they keep strays before they're destroyed.
Fair play anyway for caring, staffies are really gorgeous dogs - ours came from a shelter :)

if you missed Vivian Maier exhib at kings cross as I did, it's on at Photofusion until 16th September. worth a look. http://photofusion.org/gallery/photography/exhibitions/current/default.htm
Amazing, I was just thinking what a shame it was I missed that exhibition and then I read this. Thanks, definitely going to check it out!*
Hello, I've got a scanner for sale that I thought might be better placed here than in the classifieds.
For Sale: Veho VFS-008 Slide/Negative Scanner BNIB, it's the exact same as this one here - Veho VFS-008 Smartfix Scan to SD Stand Alone Slide and: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
I got it last month as a birthday present but I already have a Canoscan scanner so this is going spare. It has never been opened or used.
They seem to go for £60-90 on Amazon, so I'm looking for £50 ono. I'm London based but can post at cost.
