How big is the dog?
Our Tibetan Spaniel (about 5kg) travels in an ILE Default with some boosters under him. Small dog with comparatively oversized bag gives him the option to hunker down if he wants to sleep or travel with paws on shoulder/wind in his ears.

Might be able to help out depending on what you need. My partner has a drysuit, thermals for the drysuit, wetsuit, bcd, goggles/snokel, fins, hat, gloves, torch, and probably some other misc accessories.
No tanks or regulator though they think. They are 150cm tall so all the fitted stuff is niche small!

Massive dredge to get to hive wisdom, and probably a question more suited to retro bike but, recommendations for cantis to fit narrow spaced mounts please. Fork is ~60mm, rear is ~50mm which is narrow even by narrow standards.
Mafac? Shimano XT 'Dear Head' MC70? I've read that people have had success with CX50 and CX70 too.
Less importantly is anything workable available in black?

From personal experience the ply won't give any perceptible reduction in the deflection. Whether or not that's a problem is really going to depend on what you plan to put on them. The set I made with a span of just over a metre needed a centre vertical support to reduce deflection enough for doors underneath when loaded with books, but was fine for open shelving.

I got a Morsa fairly recently because I wanted something with more flexibility than the K-edge. It's not as sleek but I can't fault it so far.

Yeah. This is how it was mounted, the light with bracket weighs about 200g but still not great imo.

Cateye Ampp800. I had it mounted to a B&M bracket with a Cateye mount inserted. Assuming the leverage caused the weld to fatigue? Anyway those look like they could be really helpful. I'll DM you, thanks!

The light mount welds sheared on my ride home last night. It's the second (fool me etc etc) time it's happened. Has anyone else had this happen?
What did you do for mounting afterwards? I don't really want to side/fork mount the light, so thinking P-clips to the rescue?

You should be ok as it dries to the paper and (generally) peels off with it. We end have about 6kg, sheets, and neutraliser left over from stripping some cornice for repair. You'd be welcome to it if you wanted to test a patch.
