If you are looking to stay up in the North East (Seahouses/Alnwick area) on a cycling tour or for a special weekend away etc. then have a look at the following website:

The house actually sits directly on National Cycle Route 1, it goes past its front door.

A friend owns the place and she has done a great job with it, it looks lovely and has got a lot of great reviews. Fi really cares about people having a good time while there and is a great host.

Cycling and dog friendly too!

Not sure what you guys think of kickstarter watches. I saw this pop up on my TL today:

So thought I would post it here. I will admit I have pledged and gone for the mechanical one (X15-01 variant) to add to my 'mechanical' collection (3 watches....). I thought, if nothing else, it would be used as the field watch I was looking for as it looks smart and only cost £219 which is an acceptable risk!

Just by way of introduction, I used to be on this forum a long time ago, and was recently enticed back by a mate pointing out this thread. Love the pictures you guys have been posting and will post up my watches when I get home (away working at the moment).

This thread really doesn't help me not spend money though...

That is in seriously nice shape for being 35 years old. I love the orange vs black colour too.

What are your initial thoughts on this? I am looking for a watch for work to wear in the 'field', would this stand up to a bit of harsh treatment? I keep seeing them advertised on my instagram feed. They look smart! Hope you are happy with it.

I was thinking about a Hamilton Khaki Field watch (Black/Grey colourway). But I havent really made my mind up.
