to all who have expressed interest in split parts either by PM or posted reply:
i have gotten all your messages and will consider them. i would like to wait a few more days to see if anyone is interested in the bike as a whole before i commit to splitting it. i will give priority to those who responded first once i do decide to split. i will also update prices for each part once i decide on those.
cheers

your not willing to ship?
im only hesitant to ship because i'm unfamiliar with shipping practices in the UK, pricing, packing requirements, etc.
Being an international student I also don't have much resources at my disposal, so it would be quite a task for me to properly pack a bike for safe shipping...
If I could find a local bike shop willing to pack the bike and a buyer willing to assist with packing/mailing expenses then I would definitely ship it.

SOLD in Manchester at HipstaPalooza.
I bought this bike to keep me busy during my semester in York and I now need to get rid of it before I head back home to Hawaii. I would love to take it with me, but the costs of traveling internationally with a bicycle are just not worth it...
I will [hopefully] be going down to Hipstapalooza in Manchester this weekend with the bike for my last weekend of fun and then will need to sell the bike sometime between then and May 15th. The bike will be posted on Ebay in about a week if no one seems interested on here first.
Pick Up in York anytime or at Hipstapalooza in Manchester this coming weekend!

picked this bike up about a week ago, i will be riding around York on it until May. Let me know if anyone is around and wants to go for a ride. I just need to replace the rear wheel which I stripped the cog right off of this past weekend.http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_eNQBuWT-Zwo/SZWktV0qyNI/AAAAAAAAAK8/cGplCvuDQ_c/s1600/IMG_1578.JPG
