I have a black 3G 16gig (18 months old) going if anyone makes the right offer, brand new screen, superficial scratches to the back of the case, no charger or head phones but I do have a spare USB cable. Battery is fine, can last 2-3days. Currently jail broken with Cydia for the sake of a blue tooth keyboard app. £270ono

I was told in Spitalfields' Evans that they could do special orders for ride to work schemes, can't get wheels or mechanics stands though which is hilarious as they sold me the bike without brakes. I also put it to them that maybe I can't have a stand so it'd force me to pay them to service my bike?.. Not amused. I wanted a Nitto bar but it just seemed like too much hassle as there's no UK distributor (as I understand) so I bought a load of other stuff that I don't really want.
My work does a scheme so that they lend you the difference after the tax breaks then charge you £50 at the end of it for the bike, no matter how much the voucher/ bike was for in the first place. This, apparently, is not a crime?

I hit a pot hole that took a chunk out of the side of my car tyre. A mate of mine, who was also a mobile tyre fitter advised me to report it to the branch of the county council that dealt with the highways and they'd refund the cost of the tyres (naturally you have to replace in pairs) and they paid up, all be it eight months later. Most peoples wheels probably cost more than average car tyres, I was wondering if anyone has claimed yet?

I have to hi-jack this thread because, for the life of me i can't work out how to start one... my work only does the ride to work scheme through Evans and they have no bikes I want, or parts for that matter so I have a brand new, not yet collected 2009 Fuji Track and these for sale, again all brand spanking new:
Thomson X2 road stem black 90mm - £50
Crank Bros 50/50 Titanium black and silver pedals - £65
Brooks B17 Titanium Black - £120
and a 2009 Fuji Track 56cm - £300

I had the 2008 Fuji track and even though I liked it I have two bikes already anyway. Evans do special orders but they don't have distributer details for Nitto (for stem and bar) and you can't get wheels under the scheme. I'm tempted to keep hold of the saddle but ideally I want the Blue EHCBP Brooks swift! Why settle for stuff I don't really want?

Hello, a friend in my studio is flogging her laptop, details below
fromIngrid Hu jiachiann@gmail.com
Hi all,I'm saying good-bye to my old Mac PowerBook G4... after 6 years of intimate engagement!
Before I take it into shops, I thought I'd ask around first...It is still a beautiful machine in many ways, better looking than my new one. Some hardware info:
PowerBook G4 15"
Processor Speed 1.25GHz
L2 Cache 512kb
Memory 1GBAs with most old laptops, the battery is not really working - it will only last 15 minute when 'fully charged'. The fan is a bit noisy but I've had it checked before it's running fine... otherwise everything works. I cannot use it anymore because the memory is not big enough and it doesn't have Intel.
If you or someone you know are interested, please get in touch. Thanks!
Ingrid
