I see some m43 stuff pop up on here occasionally so someone might be interested in these
Fist up is a panasonic 14mm f2.5 in black - very good condition and comes with a protective filter and step-up ring (i think it looks better because it has the same diameter as the lens) i have removed the silver strip from around the end for stealth mode. it was just a bit of tape. £105 posted because i live outside of london
Next up is areal treat. It is a canon 17-102mm f2 c-mount lens BUT if you have an olympus camera you will get full coverage in video mode. Ideal for video shooters because it is also parfocal. example video here:http://vimeo.com/16214978
not mine. very nice lens and comes with original rubber hood and zoom lever. on picture mode and on panasonic cameras you will get some vignette but can easily be cropped out. google will show you what i mean or i can upload examples if you would like. only selling because i need the cash. £110 posted

hug it forward runs voluntourism trips so the gap year lot can come and help build schools. it means that they can make money to pay the rent so that they can operate the 100% model. i am not going on one of those trips. i am helping the charity which builds schools to develop their brand and help promote them with some bitchin videos. along with a lot of other stuff they need.
i remembered why i dont come here often. so much bullshit without knowing anything

They are called Hug it Forward, i mentioned that in the first post. you can find thier main website at www.hugitforward.org its pretty crap although it was worse. so that son my list of things to do.

Why can't the charity pay for you to get there?
Perhaps because it's a charity and they expect the participants to cover costs?
exactly. they are paying for me to live there and food etc its just fronting £700-£1000 is a bit much. they operate on a 100% model so every penny of donations go towards building schools etc so they cant just dip into that.
Hmm.. I don't really need helpers until towards July.
ok, thanks for the offer though. i really appreciate it.
set up a blog and ask companies to sponsor you for positive publicity. e.g camera manufacturer etc
i dont think i could do that in a week or so. i think my time would be better used asking airline workers to hook me up with a buddy pass and thats what im going to do. i was sort of hoping someone on here might have loads of spare air miles or a flight voucher they needed rid of or something like that.

Woah there, what makes you think a local person can't do the job you're going to do?
That said, good luck.
If you are referring to the gap year kids reply, that is exactly what I'm saying. They are doing a pointless role which thelocals would otherwise do.
If you mean me going over there. The guys over there now are from America and hardly speak Spanish. They are also based in the middle of nowhere where most people have never had their picture taken. They could advertise the role but then they would have to invest time they don't have to see if the candidate is the correct fit and capable of doing a good job. I have been working for them for 7 months, we get along well and they are very happy with my work.
What's your hourly rate for standing on the roadside handing up bidons and food?
:)
If I can get the money together in a couple of Weeks I don't care what the hourly rate is as long as I can get enough hours to make the money I need

hey guys, i dont come here often but im hoping one of you lovely people can help me
i need to get from the uk to guatemala in the very near future. the prices are around £700 to over £1000 and i have basically nothing. i want to go there so i can do some work for an up and coming charity called Hug It Forward that build schools in villages that really need them. so far they have built 15 schools in just over 2 years but things are picking up a lot now and they are starting another 5 in the next month. i could write LOTS about how great they are but i wont clog the thread so look at their site if you are interested.
where i come in: i am going to help them sort out their branding. get some nice looking websites (which are desperately needed), do all sorts of design stuff and do a lot of video work for them to show off the awesome work they are doing. ive been working remotely for some time now but i really need to get over there to really get things done. and i cant video whats happening from the uk ;)
so if anyone works for an airline or knows someone who knows someone etc who can help out with a buddy pass to get a free flight. or if anyone has an airline voucher sitting around or anything that can help me out then it would be greatly appreciated.
thanks for reading

im interested but i have a few questions.
i have the 17-35 sigma but i dont like it because
-when manually focusing, a short movement with your hand makes a massive difference so its hard to use for filming.
-it has horrible colours and crap sharpness so it makes it look like the photos are taken on a cheap point and shoot.
-and to add to that is suffers from flare really badly even with the lens hood on.does this one have the same characteristics?
-
im tempted if you would lower the price?
they go for 150ish new on ebay

Is this position still available?
