For sale - Pashley Provence, Burgundy.
Lovely little bike, bought for wifey to use as a summer cruiser but has sat in our spare room since, so time to let it go...
It's a sturdy but stylish steel machine with an interesting frame featuring curved double dropped top-tube and down-tube.
It has a Sturmey Archer 5 speed internal hub gear and hub brakes, so very low maintenance - all I've had to do is a slight tweak of the gear cable tension and pumping up the Schwalbe Marathon tyres.
It's had very little wear and tear - just a few superficial scrapes. The mudguards are all metal and have survived far better than any standard plastic ones would have done, and the paintwork all over has a lovely rich burgundy lustre. Full working order with original Brooks sprung saddle. Note - It is missing the original chainguard, I looked at sourcing one and they came up on Ebay at £20-35 or there are cheap ones that fit this model and go for about a fiver.
Ideal for a short commute or as a utility bike.
The effective top tube length is 54cm and the seat tube is 47cm. currently set up for 5'3 rider for reference. It's a bloody gorgeous little thing but we cant warrant keeping it!
£200
Thanks,

Hi All,
been riding this over winter, I was going to build it up using period parts but just dont have the time/inclunation right now.
The frame is 59cm seatpost centre to top, it currently has a 1" mizuno carbon fork and cane creek hs installed and will also include a 25mm seatpost - I'd like £80 for it collected from N5

After giving up bmx I miss breaking my fingers/arms/ankles etc every other weekend
Anyone have anything within a £400 budget that i can use to get on the dirt, bomb some hills and throw over some jumps and off some stairs etc? SS or geared, I'm easy.
Something along the lines of an inbred/ioid/anything!
