I can't UNDO the Boa laces on a pair of S-Works MTB shoes I bought 2nd hand.
Tightening is no problem but loosening them seems impossible.
I have 2 other pairs of S-Works shoes with Boa laces. The older one has red tab to you press to release and the newer one allows you to turn the Boa "dial" both ways.
I'm obviously missing something... HEEEEEELP :)

My two and a bit year old seems to have got the knack of cycling early. He discovered the wooden balance bike I was saving for his 3rd birthday and... well... you can imagine the rest..
He walks/runs on it and is just figuring out that he can lift his feet and zooooooom.... "look Da... I doing it"
I can see a few crashes in the the near future and want to buy him a pair of fingerless cycling gloves... but can't find any his size... 5.5-6cm across the knuckles.
Any leads?

The Land Transport Authority in the country I live in has just announced this.... FML
Review of bicycle laws
Fiji Times Saturday, June 09, 2012
BICYCLES will be required to undergo a fitness test like any other motor vehicle.Land Transport Authority chief executive Naisa Tuinaceva said while there was a Bicycle Act, like many other laws, it was under review.
He said once the review was completed, bicycles would have to be registered like any other motor vehicle.
We have made the proposal on the licensing of bicycles, Mr Tuinaceva said.
Bicycles are to be licensed just like motor vehicles and they will have registration numbers, he said.
Mr Tuinaceva said safety was paramount for the authority.
Safety equipment must be worn by cyclists like helmets and knee pads, he said.
Bicycles will be inspected by LTA officers and the bicycles will have to have lights, reflectors, the bell and be in good condition to ensure that it is safe to go on the road, he added.
Mr Tuinaceva said the authority was promoting the use of bicycles because it helped conserve energy.

Australia is the only country I've had motorists actually aim at me. Sydney: Got hit in the back of the head with a slushy by a bunch of "hoons" in a V8 Holden. Chased the cnuts to the next red light. Had to laugh at the tough little boys trying to wind the windows up before I got to them. Central Coast NSW: Long straight empty road. Driver coming in the opposite direction crosses to my side and speeds up, head on. I end up doing a LA cross country to avoid him. Never had any major problems in Melbourne.

Buy 3 different sized Globals and look after then. Had mine for 6 years and they are as good as the day they were bought. Obviously I've sharpened them, and have to a little more than i used to but still fantastic knives.
Started collecting Global knives, buying one whenever I could afford it.
I now have 11 plus a carving fork. But, I only use the large 28cm chefs knife and serrated kitchen knife regularly. The only others I use are the caving knife, sashimi knife (33cm, what a knife!) and filleting knife. The rest just hang around my kitchen looking dangerous.
The Global sharpener (two whet stone wheels with a reservoir for water) and their ceramic "steel" are second to none IMHO.
BINGO!
Thanks... I tried it before... but obviously didn't pull hard enough.
Cheers :)
Itsabout.... you know it... didn't sleep in them... but it was a bit of a wrestle getting them off.
