ahem
i've said it before and i'll say it again - the fyxo chainrings are nice and i'm sure he's a nice bloke, but he is essentially charging $19 dollars on top of what his suppliers charge so you can advertise his site....That's right - Cycle Underground make BREV FYXOMATOSIS chainrings.
They are just about to relaunch their site, and the price of ordering from them will be more than from fyxomatosis direct, for a more basic finish. If you have dealt with CU you'll know that the turnaround time is 1-2 months to get product. If you have the patience, you know where to order from.
Otherwise you could support a small brand like fyxomatosis thats fixed roots were in London and has been an ambassador for fixed long before it had any commercial appeal.
I remember buying my first miche cog from Condor, and having my cranks pulled after smashing them in my second alleycat in 2002... those were the daze!

Le Fyx 'Ciao' is genius as it allowed Mr White an excuse to chat up any woman he saw fit (See what I did there?).
Doesn't matter to me that it was his bike.
In 2003, way before fixed was popular/mainstream, there were very few girls riding track bikes /fixies (that last bit hurt) even in Australia.
Without naming names, one of the girls featured was the current Australian national road champion and also rode track- and most of them could ride but my bike was nicer. It was never about who could ride.
'Can she ride.....'
I've seen guys that can't ride either...
It was the most fun summer ever. Minuteman Messengers!
No need for a list....
Mention LFGSS with your order and I'll give you 10% off, 20% off t-shirts.
EASY!
