Hi mate,
I'd like to dibs the Carlton if poss. Can you just clarify what the situation is with the BB though? Is there the Campag one still in there or have you replaced with the Mavic? I, like you, just want to build this up as a pub bike really but don't want an unecessary headache! Could collect tonight or tomorrow if you like.

Hey you guys, long time no see - I think its been literally about 2 years since I said something like 'I have a food project coming up soon will let you guys know about it soon!'
Anyway, the food project has been going for a while and is now an actual restaurant on Kingsland Road - I run the kitchen at a spot called Pamela and sell Southern Louisiana and more general southern good-good. I am also quite alot fatter than i was and really terrible at riding bikes now.
We're called Decatur - take a look - https://www.instagram.com/decaturlondon/
Anyway, wanted to invite you guys to come in whenever you feel like it - drop me a PM and i'll get a table reserved and a few oysters on the house for you.

Hey,
I have this hoodie that I no longer wear for sale. Its designed with riding in mind with some breathable holes in the pits, back pockets for Bidons and a button to tighten up the collar. Its old and I figure someone might like it before it goes to the charity shop?
Collection from North London (N5/N16) any time.
10 Quid. XL.

Is anyone a fan of / could use some darkly roasted beans? I have 6kgs of Medium Dark / Dark Roast from a SW London Roaster that I can't use and would be happy for people to take off my hands for around 10 quid a Kilo / 2.50.
Let me know...
edit* Ethiopian, Brazlian, Colombian, Kenyan, Sumatra and Guatemalan.

Bulldog, grim as fuck
A flat white is not hot, unstrectched milk with an under-extracted espresso. That was the second time I've had a par Costa coffee there
** Massive caveat **
Sam always makes a blinding cup of coffee, She wasn't there the twice I've been inBulldog Edition?
I've only tried their Hot and Cold Filters from the Grouphead, which have been very hit and miss.

Meatballs (for saarf).
I use lots of beef mince, meat from a sausage, fresh/crushed rosemary and garlic, o'oil, salt and cracked peppercorns. Roll on a floured board and chill in the fridge.
For sauce I like it simple and thin texture: passata, a chopped pickled pepper, a chilli, a splash of balsamic, lemon juice, salt.
^ this has evolved rather than taught. I don't think it's authentic to anywhere but it's nice.
All the same more or less, but with add milk soaked bread to give it lightness. And pork mince, no sausage.

Will definitely be sure to post on here when things are in a bit more of a solid state! But yeah of course LFGSS discount, ha! Will definitely but having a word with David about hooking people up as and when I launch!
@Edscoble - If you find one let me know! I would also kill for a decent NY style pie that doesnt cost 25 quid - looking at you Voodoo Rays!

Just got back from Hawksmoor.
Tell my family I love them.
I went Saturday night too; which one were you at? Celebrated my last day of a job I'd worked for 6 years, to start my own (food) business by eating way too much - Between two of us; Half a Lobster, 900g Prime Rib, Chips, Mac and Cheese, a Tomato Salad, Sticky Toffee Pudding, 2 Cocktails, A Bottle of Wine and a couple of Bourbons to finish. Fucking well full.
Then last night, finally pulled the Short Ribs out of the Water Bath - 76 or so hours after they first got a dip. Smothered them in a homemade BBQ Sauce (Ketchup, Vinegar, Dark Brown Sugar, BBQ Rub, Garlic Powder and the Juices in the Vac-Pack bags) and tossed them on the barbecue at high heat for 10 minutes or so to develop a nice crust - this is the final result;

Can we get the discussion back to those fancy-schmancy adjustable dummbells? I've gotten hundreds of hours use out of my York spinlock dumbbells, but I'm stuck with maximum 25 kgs. In theory I could go up to 30 kgs per dumbbell, but that seems risky to me. I would like to get up to somewhere over 40 kgs ideally. I'm pretty skint by any measure, but given the amount of use I could get out of a pair of adjustable ones I could justify the cost.
My research on the interwebs so far tells me that a lot of people dislike Bowflex. Powerblocks are recommended by lots of people but ugly. My understanding is that they are the priciest option in the US, but on Amazon in the UK there is a deal on the 'sports' series that makes them about the same price as Bowflex. The Ironmaster ones are pricier in the UK than the other two, whereas it seems that in the US it's the other way around. Are any of you guys using them? The cheaper brands, are there any hidden gems among them?

Powerblock Sport 9.0 Dumbbells (stage 1): Amazon.co.uk: Sports & OutdoorsSurely something like this would make more sense? I feel like you could load this up with more weight in time, but for a fraction of the price? You could also get regular sprung clamps which would take up less real estate on the bar and so you could load it heavier. The tensile strength of the bars will probably be considerably more than the 40kg plates that come with it so if you really wanted to i'm sure you could find slightly larger plates for it and push them to 50-60kg.

Why don't you call it the english name... - Rabe? Or the correct Italian - Rapini.
You can't get it London anyway, because you don't grow it here AFAIK.It's call "Grelos" in Portuguese and you can get them in Britxon (just ask about, the Portuguese word, which BTW, is a synonymous for CNUT ;) ) in any veg stall.
Why don't you come off your high horse for **five minutes? **And stop highlighting words, coming off in a smug and irritating manner? I know what it tastes like, what its used for and that it's often called **Rabe **or **Rapini. **I've eaten it plenty of times overseas, just wanted to know where to get it in **London.

Hi mate, I can meet in London for the Miche Primatos if they are still available?
