The frame has really compact geometry, the 753 tubing is super light and I think it will only take 650 wheels. Measurements as follows:
C-to-C 47-48cm
Seat tube 48-49cm
top tube 50cm
front to centre 52cm
rear chainstays 43cmI bought the frame recently from a lady owner, but haven't built it up and I'm a bit sad to see it go. The paint is in really good condition, bar a couple of small chips and some wear around the rear dropouts. Original transfers all on and also good nick.
SOLD!

Just won this mercian 753 on ebay for too much, and stupidly without enough info, but it's a lovely frame and the right size.
I don't have it in my posession so this is the bext pic I have, but I'm worried about the rear dropouts. They look long semi-vertical so chain tensioning might not be a problem?
It's my first proper build and I'd prefer not to be fucking around with magic gear or eccentric hubs.... can I make it work fixed?

I'm gonna be a 'maybe'.
I always wanted to ride xmas day but I'm usually too fucked from the night before and the day of.. time for a change? We'll all be fucked from the night before.
And anyway, it's my first ride so you'll be keeping pace with me if you're in gentlemanly spirit (not that I go slow, but.... )

Did I see M A X on Bishopsgate this morning? By the looks of it, you were riding a geared bike and getting ticketed for RLJing. I was on the bus. Then you overtook the bus and did some more RLJing. Quality.!
I saw that happen.
I thought he got away with but then a police motocycle came from nowhere and gave chase through a massive traffic jam. i've already been nicked there twice in two days so I don't even try anymore. need new route. Bishopsgate=revenue raiser
Has this gone onto eBay yet? Link?
