The frame has really compact geometry, the 753 tubing is super light and I think it will only take 650 wheels. Measurements as follows:

C-to-C 47-48cm
Seat tube 48-49cm
top tube 50cm
front to centre 52cm
rear chainstays 43cm

I bought the frame recently from a lady owner, but haven't built it up and I'm a bit sad to see it go. The paint is in really good condition, bar a couple of small chips and some wear around the rear dropouts. Original transfers all on and also good nick.

it´s better than spending a lots of money getting a track end welded by Merican and the cost of getting the frame repainted as well.

No no, I mean, I'm going to see if there's enough movement first, without getting a track end... it does look like quite long.

Surely I would have been. But I didn't. It was spur of the moment and the dropouts looked ok. Finding nice frames in my size is difficult. I haven't paid for it yet....

Just won this mercian 753 on ebay for too much, and stupidly without enough info, but it's a lovely frame and the right size.

I don't have it in my posession so this is the bext pic I have, but I'm worried about the rear dropouts. They look long semi-vertical so chain tensioning might not be a problem?
