one unpictured died shortly after my return to the uk, her name was meme, and the oldest I can't find a picture of and his name is jack.
As a vegan I would say, that rescued animals are acceptable. Giving an animal a better life is always better than not doing anything at all. I would never buy from breeders. My husky, china, was from a family (friends of my stepdad) in california that found they counldn't care for her so we went to get her. Going to pet shops and that sort of thing I feel personally is wrong, as said above, it is all personal thoughts though.

Will be in San Francisco end of March for work and planning to see friends in LA for Easter. Was planning on riding all the way or parts down to LA. Any advice on routes, places to stay and general logistics would be very much appreciated.
you could look up the route for the AMGEN tour of california race. I am sure it is a bit more meandering but you could take snippets from that route.

how it all vegan
vegan rustic cookingall three are good vegan recipe books that can be found super cheap online and i believe in some libraries even? if you dont want to be vegan and dig your egg and dairy in your meals just switch out their dairy/egg alts for something non-vegan

Lentil soup is amazing. make it in bulk. freeze what you dont eat. take left overs to work and what not and it is super cheap. curries are in the same economical boat.
also if you feel youre lacking in anything invest two quid in nutritional yeast. carried at any health store, helps thicken up sauces soups etc and is chocablock with awesome vitamins and what not.
enjoy!!

I can't believe you have nowhere to go.
I ride down from Swindon to Salisbury because there's excellent riding around there. You've got the whole of the New Forest practically on your doorstep, an excellent run up the river to Amesbury and some lovely lanes heading out towards Yeovil.
I am not to good at remembering roads and what not, that lead to anywhere at all. And surely around this time anywhere along any river is 5" under water.

those bikes are all set up the same. why? like, it seems pointless to me. I'm not trying to be a dick, but every one of my bikes are set up at least somewhat different. i mean theyre all gorgeous but sheesh.
.
I was thinking the same thing! overkill.
I would go with bianchi or cinelli. I have friends with both, and they commute amoungst other things daily, and they all say amazing things about them. To narrow it down, cinelli would be my choice.

I have a lot of family in australia right now, it scares me. we havent heard much from them. not that i expect them to up and think about calling me first and foremost.
i cant begin to believe that i single person could possible find that article funny. As a previous Journalism student I cant believe someone could bring themselves to do that. It is a huge part of modern media to think about ethics...or at least in my education it was. bastards.
it is amazing to think of how people are pulling together though. hope your gf's family are ok!
