The steel fork and quill stem conversion would probably look great on that frame though. I did it to my Fort a few months ago and I'm very happy with it.

Thanks. The headset is indeed a threaded headset (chris king grip nut) which I had previously been using with an adapter.

I had a pair of carbon forks. I suppose you could call the change a downgrade, but I suppose I'm just a hipster... oh well.

Cross post from current projects but I finally installed the track forks I got for my fort. Pretty pleased with it now although I would like to get the forks painted black to match the frame at some point.
