Hmm... I'm not sure if you were serious or not but I guess you were right. When pumped up to 130-140psi the hole looks pretty bad, especially on the back. And there isn't really any way to repair it, right?
I guess its time to get Refuses then or Gatorskins or something. And something bigger than 23s. Nice life span for Rubino Pros :D
For fucks sake...

I can continue here I guess :P
So, 3rd or 4th ride with the Rubino Pros, manage to cet a big-ish puncture to both front and rear tyre. Both get 1cm-ish cut. The front tyre seems ok, but the rear one now punctures the inner tyre as theres some bit sharper part of the tyre sticking a bit inside.
How should I fix it? Would a patch (on the inside of the tyre) or piece of old inner tube do it? Or should I cut up my Luganos and try to patch it with a piece of those? :P
edit.
... should've got dem refuses.. :P

So for the past few (6) hours I've been trying to buy new tyres*. Now I have Schwalbe Luganos that came with the bike and I've had 3 punctures in 2 days. At least two could've been just because I didn't have enough pressure in the tyres (fucking gas station pump works randomly), and yes, I'm getting a proper track pump.
Probably I don't need the most bombproof tyres ever as I'm riding mostly on the road when commuting (about 15-20km day). But it would be fun to be able to ride outside the road (on the sidewalks) if I need to. Roads, sidewalks too, here are in pretty good condition, not too much glass or anything.
I don't really need to worry about rain as I'm gonna stay in Malaga for a little longer so it doesn't matter if the tyres don't have the best grip in wet conditions. So I guess I'm mostly looking for speed but I really wouldn't want to be repairing my tires twice a day.
I was already gonna order two Maxxis Refuses but I started wondering if I should get two different tyres (or just totally different tyres from Refuses). Was wondering if Michelin Pro 3s or Conti GP4000s would be enough? Or should I get Gators in the front and Armadillos in the back? Or just Gators? Or Refuses? And if I won't be able to buy 23 Refuses from the place where I'm ordering the rest of the stuff this weekend should I just go with 25s or find 23s somewhere else?
Michelin Pro 3? Randonneurs? Armadillos + Gators? Just Gators? GP4000s? Vredestein?
Help me out guys >_<

I've been using the same bag since '01 but in its first year the handle on the side and the retractable handle broke. Or well the retractable handle didn't really broke, it just works randomly :P The zipper is also terrible, as is the lock and the wheels. And I've used it on like, total of 6 trips.
Why use 70e on piece of crap which breaks in few years if you can use 140e on nice luggage which you can use for 10-20 years?

I couldn't find anything on search so.
I'm going to Spain in 9 days. For a month :D. And yes, I'm taking my bike. But I need a new bag (for clothes, not the bike) for the trip as my old one is just some 8-ish years old cheapo with broken handles, bad wheels etc. So anyone got any suggestions?
I've been thinking about getting either Osprey Vector or Sojourn. Anyone got any experience from these? Is there any reason to get the Sojourn over Vector if I'm 99% sure I won't be carrying the bag anywhere. Or someone got some other brands? Nothing too expensive, just need some quality shit.

oh yeah? what'd they say? where'd you find them? couldn't find any reviews on bikeradar, etc?
Can't find the place now but someone on some forum was wondering why Sidi still has them on sale as he said they don't really work and have lots of problems. Could've been bikeforums.net, not sure.
Tried googlin but didn't find anything negative really.
