I was in an early (6.10am) pen and consequently had to set the alarm at 3.00am for a pick-up some 30 minutes later. Despite very little sleep, I was happy with my time of 4 hours 37 mins. Highlight of the day was a rider losing his line on a long straight descent and making contact with me. Luckily we both hung on! Otherwise the quality of riding was pretty good. The route, marshals and support from the spectators was fantastic.

Currently running with a 24" Velocity Aerohead rim on my Bespoke Lo Pro, but fancy something a bit more special!
Top of my want list would be a Campagnolo Khamsin disc wheel, but would also happily take a HED CX or Corima.
Cash waiting for the right wheel - tub or clincher - what have you got?
Many thanks.

Sorry for the late reply! It has 53/42 chainrings and the cassette is a 12-21. Photo was taken at the top of Col d'Izoard and we had ridden La Marmotte the day before (although not on the vintage bikes).
