SOLD
Bit of a LFGSS classic, back to the boards. I bought this from here, have loved it for a few years, now hoping someone takes it on and rides it as much as I did.
Eddy Merckx 650c Yellow lo pro.
Steel tubing. Teardrop aero profile on seat post. Rare.
Yellow frame, all black everything else.
Generic aero fork. Drilled, but not running a brake.
Sugino 75 crankset.
MKS chain tugs.
Nitto black risers.
3T quill stem.
Specialized Toupe saddle (brand new).
Miche super type seat post (comes with a brand new spare, so if you're having your saddle higher than me, you can switch out the box fresh one without scratches when you're dialled in)
Wheel set is H plus rims (formation) laced to Phil hubs (high flange). Radial front. 4x rear.
Chris King headset.59cm (I'm 188cm), fits great. The reach is quite short without pursuit bars, so your arms and therefore torso are more upright. So it's no way as aggressive as you'd think. Surprising comfortable. Have done 200km rides before. Actually my road bike feels more aggressive, despite it being far more usual.
Few superficial marks on the frame, note on the top tube, and normal wear and tear elsewhere. Rides great. Been bullet proof for me.
£800 complete. Don't need a quick sale. Looking for by mid May. DM if interested.

Saddle and seatpost were stripped the other day on the stands by the Dishoom entrance near Brick Lane. A theft hotspot to be sure, but the guy was on it pretty immediately — so be warned.
Anyway, this has prompted me to get some security torq bolts finally. Which reveals an area of complete ignorance of mine. Bolt sizing.
So does anyone know the correct bolt size for:
Miche Supertype seatpost clamp
3T Record Quill Stem (the bolt that secures it into the steerer)(for reference: http://www.bicyclebolts.com)

Spotted and DAS'ed that famous yellow Eddy Merckx lo-pro just outside Essex Road Station before 7pm. Zero reaction from rider.
Spotted him few weeks ago. Stunning build. Said "Nice Bike" to him but similar zero reaction :)
Would love to see photos of the build.
Just had these pointed out to me. Sorry to both. Didn't hear you noname, but DragunovCZ1, I'm sure I thanked you. Perhaps my voice is as weak as my hearing. Nice bike to you too.
Missing a DAS tho, must try harder...

Just bung the lock through the seatstays. Easy.
yeah i never understand why everyone doesn't do this. getting a lock over seattube and rear wheel is a pain in the ass, but seat stays gets the frame and wheel (assuming you lock under the rim), with loads of room.
altho it's so easy i was paranoid for ages that it was somehow foiled. (closes eyes ahead of potential correction)

near tottenham court road this morning...
a young chap on a black 50s ish 27 frame, but with 700c's, a bmx stem, bmx pedals, no retention, high and wide risers and brakeless!.
was doing hugely wobbly track stands at every junction, but just kept creeping forward and eventually giving up and RLJing. All in the context of a messenger calmly sitting on his top bar, foot down, on a lovely yellow concorde.
jesus wept.

Nice try. I almost posted my own "POW!" so pleased was I with that open goal I banged home there. Hehe.
indeed. opportunities like that are a joy. without it you'd have had to articulate why it was incorrect not split up the never ending sentence. a hard task to do without making a mistake yourself.
reasonable stab at semi colon usage tho.
