What makes this anti for you?
It's a French branded bicycle but not a Look, so for @HoKe it can GTFO

Got a Gamoh front rack for decent price, not that I needed it, but I fancied trying, the front rack I had on the Varonha years ago is now on the Dawes.
I made a brass bracket for it (because that's all I had to hand, hope it's not going to bend under weight, brass being softer than St/steel I guess? ... It's quite beefy so should be ok) as the manufacturer's provided brackets didn't fit and I didn't want to butcher them, in case I wasn't keeping the rack in the end.I need to find a cheap basket now, has to be shallow with these bars...

But please align the rear rack, my OCD is screaming;-)
Probably why @Jingle_Jangle cautioned it was a work horse (comparatively). I've that same Nitto rack, and it's not an easy one with steep seat stays (and fast stays); better suited to slacker geo / smaller frames, which is annoying as it's otherwise a pretty thing.
That bike is lovely regardless!

Apologies, I wasn't trying to dismiss your listing
Not at all, I didn't take it in that way :)
Good to know what's around. The Lidle model you know looks very similar to the Bialetti Venus.
Re heat transfer, I read somewhere that when possible it's good to pre-boil the water before and I do that now. Supposed to reduce the time coffee is heated before water gets through it... -
Wow! At that price my offering isn't very attractive!
Kind of based the price on half of what I found on eBay... didn't study in very much depth I admit.
For reference, here's an idea of the cost of the Alessi(s) new. What I remember paying for the large one at least, bought the small one in Italy and I think it was a bit cheaper (round 60 euros)
https://www.remodelista.com/products/pina-coffee-maker/Anyway, sound like I should drop the price: £60 + postage?
Such sad sad news.
