are there rules for what bikes you can ride at PP track? e.g. does it have to have drops? not be a converted tourer, etc?

also, can you use the track when nobody is there? or do you have to pay / go to an organised thang, etc?

maybe jimmy, although i'm not sure about brown. i need to upgrade my old beater. i changed to a 46 front ring and the chain is either too slack or, if i take a link out, the wheel is too far forward and only just hanging on. So gonna change it back to the 42 on the front, clean it up, and sell it. time i got myself a nice new track bike. might even move up to a 50 front ring - there's only one hill between here and peacehaven, which is just about ok with a decent run-up.

maybe we should go for a ride at the weekend, so i can test-drive?

i've just found this forum and am the owner of the white bike spotted in the first post. 'cept one of my purple ouri's got nicked so now the grips are black. it's a beat up old thing but i like it. ride to preston park from peacehaven and back every day. i'll join you for a ride soon - what's coming up and where do i find out?
