Forgot to say, the badge on the frame is just an old dawes one I had that seemed to suit the look and fill a space hence it being there!

I'm sellin' my bike to pay for a trip somewhere.

I've no idea what frame it is but can tell you the tubing is butted, its straight and looks lovely! Size is about 58/59 ish. I'm 5ft 9" and its very roomy.

Components.

Forks - Don't know but mint, chromed and straight.

Headset - Tange

Pedals - Charge

Spokes - stainless, dt butted, fitted new.

Fixed and freewheel sprockets bought locally, new.

Stem - Nitto, new from ebay shop.

Bars - GB, from my last bike.

Brakes - New front Sora caliper and new Tektro crosstop levers (the rear lever I have but isn't used)

Tyres and tubes - Schwalbe Lugano puncture protection plus lightweight Schwalbe tubes, all new from Chainreaction.

Saddle - Ritchey, New from ebay shop

£215 for it.

I shamefully and barely used it, hardly at all since built so everything that was bought new for it still is as new, even the rear tyre. I can't stress just how mint the bits are!!!

They cost alot of money though, I like finding things on the cheapo elsewhere e.g. just found a stem for a fiver!

Sorry bud I'm keeping the frame. Its those very same BLB forks that I'm after too but I just need to move these on first.

Yo to all, I have these here minto curved blade chrome forks with a 1" steerer which is 185mm long with 58mm of thread.

No rust or blemishes, like new in fact!

I'm after a slack angled steel frame, maybe something modern-ish to suit my 5ft 9" height (58cm?)

Something like a plug frame or similar, any cosmetic condition, doesn't matter if its scuffed or scabby.

Hey, yes I discovered that the other day. Why I didn't just look over the frame for some markings in the first place I don't know. Face/palm.

I conker what you say dear chap, it is a fantastic ride! Comfy, compliant and very fast!

So thats frame, forks, bb, stem, riser bars, seat post, hubs?

Wheelset & seat is now gone.

Everything else is left. Frame, forks, headset, seat post, stem, both bars, pedals, brakes.

Nooo, good idea!

The rims are weinmann, hubs weinmann, conti tyres (ultra gator skins or something) and old. They're true but the spokes are very flakey and bearings less then smooth however no play and converted to a solid axle. The rims polish up nicely. They're a cassette rear hub spaced and dished to suit a ss free hub.

Ok, The frame, fork, headset, bb, top tube clips and seatpost for £175.

The brakes (levers and calipers) £45

Bars, £10 each.

Seat, £10.

System EX Hubs, £40.
