Can't believe I missed a @yetidamo bargain. I was after this type of ride as well.

The cross shoes are clunky, but amazing as winter commuter shoes, better than any winter specific shoes/boots I have tried. I would buy them, but I can't see my current pair wearing out.

As @andyp will attest, I have never worn them to race cross, so no idea if any good for that.
