I suppose it depends on what size you need, but I've got one of these for work docs and stuff.
https://www.safe.co.uk/products/yale-value-safe-office.html
It has holes accessed from inside the safe to screw into whatever you're attaching it to. I put it in a cupboard and screwed it into the wall behind. It was such a pain in the .... putting the screws in from inside the safe that I doubt I'll ever be able to remove it with the door open. I suppose with enough determination you could extract it with the door shut but it would have to be a very determined burglar.

Tacx Satori Turbo Trainer - well used over a number of years. NOT the newer smart model, it's the old one with a cable and selector to change resistance. Comes with the front wheel riser (which just holds the front wheel in place during use) and rear skewer to allow the rear wheel to be secured in the trainer.
Free to a good (or even not good) home! Forum donation appreciated. Collect in Muswell Hill or I can drop off within a reasonable distance.

Only had a test drive in one but I really liked it. Can see that the styling would be marmite. I liked the space inside, wasn't too cheap and plasticky. The one I drove had an average of 2.5m/kw but it just seems to be driven in laps around Colney Hatch Lane with people flooring it on the North Circular if they get a chance, so that probably isn't a surprise. I didn't expect to like it when I started out.

I've lurked on this thread for a while, but just wanted to say that your house is looking great, I'm a massive admirer of everything that you have done and what you are trying to achieve with it, and your photographs of the island are wonderful. This thread is a fantastic bit of escapism from a grey, wet London winter.
Thanks!

We had our car stolen off the drive two years ago. I looked into immobilisers etc then. In the end I decided against as if someone is willing to break in to steal the key (which is what happened) why would they not go further when it wouldn’t start and wake me / my wife up with a screwdriver or similar pointer at us asking if we wouldn’t be so kind as to come downstairs and start the car up...

I had a 2002 Les Paul Standard. I played 10 or so before I bought my one. I can't remember the names of the different profiles that were on offer then, but every neck was different and I don't remember them really corresponding to the names that Gibson had given to the different profiles. If possible I'd say try it, because 'slim' might not mean that much!

On this - they've recently changed the name from Albert Road Rec to the O.R Tambo Rec. The council did a public consultation which resulted in 51 % in favour of the name change. Certain locals have kicked off about the change, suggesting that it is destroying our shared history by changing the name...
From time to time someone steals the charter that he's holding and replaces it with 'amusing' alternatives...
The whole controversy has a smell of thinly veiled racism to me

The MPTS is part of the tribunal system. It applies the civil standard of proof. An appeal from it goes to the High Court.
So - this was equivalent to a civil case, and it proceeded along the same lines as, and (in terms of burden and standard of proof) adopted the same approach as any other civil case...

I look them up regularly... then wince at the prices. Then go down the list to see more other / more knackered variants that I could have for a bit of fun until it explodes. I'd look completely ridiculous and my wife would hate it (and me for buying it) but it would be worth it to indulge my inner teenager.

I've not watched a legal argument conducted by wikipedia reference for a while. It's fun, in a way... Not sure it's going to get anyone (whether the person making the point or those that it's meant to persuade) very far though.
I've only experienced EU law in one area of practice, and so have a limited frame of reference for this, but in that field we had very considerable influence on its content.
If moving to another country didn't mean starting at the bottom of my field again, I'd go to Ireland or an independent Scotland that was part of the EU without a second thought.

As far as I know the tribunal works on the basis of the civil standard of proof - so the GMC would have to prove on a balance of probabilities any allegation that it makes. I suppose they might be saying that, in circumstances where the testosterone was ordered, if you exclude other possible explanations (e.g. that it was ordered for Sutton to treat erectile dysfunction, that it was ordered by accident and that it was ordered for any other legitimate purpose) the only conclusion left open to the tribunal is that it was ordered for the purpose of doping a rider.
Not saying that would work - it seems like an extraordinary leap and one that bearing in mind the implications a court would not be likely to make without evidence that specifically supports it...

I played rugby at a moderate level before university (national league 2 south) a high level whilst at university (academy level at a premiership club) and low level after I recovered from torn acl / mcl (london 1).
I didn't see any steroid use until london 1 when a load of players were on it. Obviously at that level they stood out a lot as noticeably bigger and stronger than the others. If others were at it when I was at the other clubs they hid it much better. Doesn't mean they weren't, of course.

Had these for a good few years. They are in decent nick and (last I used them) work well, but they have some tape residue on the rollers themselves from when I packed them up to move a couple of years ago. I then put them in the shed and forgot about them... I've removed the tape but not the residue. The rollers spin freely and the band connecting them seems in good shape.
So - they're free! Collection in N10 for anyone that wants them.
