A 36 year old woman cyclist was hit and killed by a driver yesterday evening. The police are seeking two men who fled on foot from the overturned car involved. Whiston Road is constantly used as a rat run by speeding drivers. When will something be done about it? RIP.

Awful incident in the Standard today. A cyclist in his 20s is fighting for his life after being hit by car which then struck another vehicle yesterday evening. The driver, a 24-year-old woman, has been arrested for causing GBH by dangerous driving and remains in custody. Fingers crossed he pulls through.

Standard is reporting that there has been another cycling fatality in Holborn today, the 6th in 9 years. It involved an HGV and happened very near where Alan Neve was killed in 2013. RIP unknown rider. According to Twitter, it was a female cyclist.

This is awful. I used to work with his partner. She suddenly disappeared, now I know why. A van driver crashed into a 41 year old cyclist and left him for dead in the road yesterday afternoon. He is now 'fighting for his life'. Really hope he pulls through and the scumbag that hit him is found and charged.

This is a call out to all east London riders. On Friday evening and Saturday, cyclists will be taking over the streets of stormin' Norman Tebbit's former 'hood for a mass bicycle ballet ride.

From the local rag, it seems a young man was hit by the driver of a silver Vauxhall vectra who sped away from the scene. It happened last Saturday afternoon, around 3pm. The 20 year old cyclist is in hospital in critical condition. Fingers crossed he pulls through. I hope they catch the scumbag driver who did this.

This happened on Almorah Road near the Junction with Yeate Street just before 3.45pm on Saturday. The car driver did not stop at the scene. Standard reports that at 12.15am today a male cyclist in his 30s was hit by a car on Goswell Rd at the junction of Percival St. Describes his condition as 'fighting for his life'. A male cyclist has been seriously injured in a collision with a lorry. It happened at 9.20am this morning near the junction of Seymour St and Portman St in Westminster. It's been reported by CLOCS and Stop Killing Cyclists on Twitter, no more details yet. Fingers crossed for him.
