I am sourcing components for a new project. Getting a nice 90s steel frame and want to put a silver campy groupset on it. I just need some subtle 10 speed compatable hubs which are sleek and silver.. Any reccomendations? Don't want to break the bank either.

Building a new bike this summer. I am looking for a nice-ish steel road frame, I'll consider anything that is good quality. Specifically looking for 90s as this seems to have been the pinnacle of steel frame production. Would like features such as internal cable routing etc.

I'm 6'1 ish so 58 is probably ideal. Budget negotiable depending on frame, but nothing crazy.

I'm aware I would get more money if I split but I no longer have the time do to so. I know 550 is reasonable but I didn't think it was dirt cheap.. Perhap I should raise the price ;)

Up for sale is my beloved super. I believe the frame is early 80s as it is not labelled with a specific type of columbus tubing - I have been told that this only started happening in the mid 80s. An educated guess by a user on here tells me it is almost definitely custom drawn SL tubing. The frame is in acceptable condition with a lovely creamy white to pink fade. The previous owner has obviously tried to strip part of the chrome from the fork which has made it slightly less presentable, a perfectionist may want to get this re chromed but it didn't cause me any problems and has minimal surface rust so I lived with it!

Size toptube - 58ctc, seat tube also 58ctc.

spec - the majority of the components are early 90s athena/chorus.

-front and rear derailleurs and brake levers, are Chorus (brake levers possible C-record also worth mentioning they have minimal splits in a few places)
-Cranks, seat post and brakes (monoplanar) are Athena
-BB is a campagnolo specific carbon tifosi. I can throw in a genuine good condition C-record BB for those purists for an extra cost if wanted.
-The bike also has the coveted simplex friction shifters (the campagnolo team even chose these over campag c-rec in the tour de france!)
-The wheels are Campagnolo's famous Shamal model, 16 spokes with an 8 speed cassette. (they make an awesome noise at speed!)
-Saddle is a Selle San Marco Concor reissue, few bumps on the side but otherwise great condition.
-stem and bars are Cinelli criterium (65-44)
Headset is a modern unbranded steel one.

I will take some more detailed pictures this week. Just give me a shout if you want any specific pictures. The bike is located in Bristol. I can potentially post it if it is bought in the next few days but I will be out of town as of saturday for some time so it will have to be collected from Bristol from then on. I can potentially arrange a courier service however.

Never even mounted this bad boy. Completely 100% brand spanking new with no marks/damage whatsoever. Picked it up a while ago for a new project that never happened.

To follow are some images. Not great light when I took them so if you would like some more/any particular angles just ask. complete with box (slightly damaged from storage).

I would really like £50 as this is in pristine NOS condition. this isnt the current edition on the market, it has a silver logo on the back as opposed to the red one on the modern reissue. Will have to post but could potentially meet in brighton. Many thanks!

Just bought a NOS 3t status off planet x, I may be being completely stupid, but I can't work out how to tighten the stem into the frame, after removing the plastic cap there is a rubber protrusion I have no idea how to get past, any ideas? Many thanks!

Still looking folks, the odd thing is that my current ITM seatpost is engraves with 26.4 (superscripted 4) but when I measure my frame its 26mm, and when I try and put a 26.4 seatpost in it really wont fit. anyway, I'm still looking for a nice 26mm! thanks
