Got a nod and a smile from a chap who was with his light blue bike inside the hairdressers on Zetland Road as I headed past yesterday afternoon! Plus saw a couple of young guns riding up Redland Road later on, not sure if they were fixed or not but one looked like a mountain bike conversion and the other was black with purple rims! Nice!

Saw a blue bike with white grips and only a front break heading up Cheltenham Road this morning as I was heading down... thought it was fixed until they stop pedaling!

...not sure what's happened but it looks like someone has gone under a bus! Just a heads up to anyone commuting to or from that direction!

Locked up in Broadmead this lunchtime... blue and yellow Kobra(?)... geared with only a front brake... WTF?

Think I might give it a miss... I have far too many t-shirts as it is!

After a bit of investigation I'm not quite sure if they fit with the chain you have as they are really chunky, much thicker than a standard chain... I remember breaking at least two chain tools trying to fit it on my BMX... just don't want to waste your time that's all!

I'm into my mountain biking and also have a BMX too! 700c wheels don't do too well in thick mud or at a skatepark! Tend to mix it up on my commute to work but it's usually the fixed! Gears and suspension feel a little bit like over-kill on Bristol roads! Anyway I'm off to the peak district on said mountain bike for new years! Have a good one everybody!

Spotted another unipack in Broadmead while I was on my lunchbreak... I don't feel so alone now!

Uniformed with hi-viz jackets, just on the pavement by Maplins, pretty hard to miss them! Not quite sure how they are physically stopping people but I guess nobody is going particularly fast through the traffic there!

They were out in force again this morning stopping pretty much every cyclist that jumped the red light at the bottom of Gloucester Road by the Prince of Wales! Sadly they were paying no attention to some of the crazy thing some motorists were doing right in front of them! Nearly got taken out by a car that was not looking where it was going!

Saw a chap on a rather nice white bike trackstanding his socks off next to me at the lights by the arches! I was on my big muddy bike for a change! I think he spotted my eBay deal of a campag hat!

I had an audience...

Saw the road close up this morning as I slipped on a patch of ice on the way to work! Put a hole in my jacket but otherwise no damage done! Take it easy out there!
